A report published by the JAMA Network found that ivermectin prescriptions for cancer patients doubled between January and July 2025. Researchers also found that white southern males were most likely to take the drug.

Ivermectin is an anti-parasitic medication primarily used by veterinarians. It was popularized among humans by Covid vaccine skeptics during the pandemic. It has no proven medicinal properties beyond being an effective treatment for parasitic infections. Cancer is not a parasitic infection as it is a mutation of cells.

The truth is that I have a pretty comfortable life. I'm disabled and live with family, so I'm relieved of worrying about bills until I move. I have a nice comfortable bed, lots of food, and video games to play. I live in a suburban area that is picturesque green and very low crime. I've been in worse situations, so I know I'm lucky to have what I have.

When you ask what I think of my country, I actually think of the whole country. The quality of my home is not measured by personal experience, comfort, or convenience. This is a home to billions of others, and I care about what happens to them and how the system works for them.

Jesus said, "What you do unto the least you do unto me."

The only real test of a nation's quality how it would be rated to someone who could potentially fall into any category and have no control over their life situation. In other words, if the idea of being born poor and black make you fearful it's because the system definitely does not work for them and everyone knows it. If we lived in a great nation, you would be comfortable to be any of citizens.

Even if what's happening in Washington is not breaking my life, it must face the same test. Moreover, their quality of intelligence, morals, and integrity casts a shadow over the country that darkens all of our lives.

Watching other people lose their rights should be frightening to everyone, because it will become you. Even many nazis hated living under Hitler. They gave him too much power and he personally made rules about how they had to live their lives, and he was very strict. They had to live under a hierarchy where each man abused everyone below them without impunity. His own men tried to kill him because even they were suffocating under the state's control.

So, the quality of my country becomes more and more horrible every day. Every time they steal money from us and the idiots cheer. Every time they block a report or pardon a criminal. Every time they strip away legal protections for any citizens.

I'm so sick of seeing Republicans cry about immigration being an invasion.

What Isreal is doing to Palestine is an invasion. What Russia is doing to the Ukraine is an invasion. People who come here to live under our laws, pay our taxes, and contribute to our economy are not invaders!

England, France, and Ireland literally shipped off their prisoners to America. They said the Irish were going to ruin the country. They were considered dirty, lazy, animals, as savage as the Natives. Every generation swears their immigrants are going to be the end of the country. Over 200 years, no group has ever ruined the country.

Their beliefs have nothing to do with what who is coming and what's the result. No, it's an inherent fear of the other connecting with America's racism.

What I hate about our homelessness situation is that people are so ignorant to the realities of the human race and the system we live in. The idea that everyone should be able to do what others do is extremely unrealistic and not accurate. The human species is factually widely varied from physical ability to intellectual ability to health and ableism.

People's idea of individualism and disability play an important role here. The assumption is that you're either able to work or you're not, and if you're not, you'll be taken care of. There is little to no acknowledgement that many people can do some work, but not enough to survive on, especially with the astonishingly low pay rates we have. It's not about pity; it's about realistic expectations. People with mental illness, physical disability, and the elderly are mostly left to drown under the weight on these expectations. They often end up homeless, because we refuse to meet them halfway, because someone else was able to make it work.

Zooming out, the people who are against social services and wage hikes, completely refuse to acknowledge that capitalism creates poverty and homelessness by design. In a system with the expectation and acceptance of people like Elon Musk hording hundreds of billions of dollars and having no obligation to pay a living wage, it is impossible for everyone to support themselves with all the money being siphoned to the top. We are a consumerist and service-oriented nation, which means there are a vast number of service jobs that people are forced to work that don't pay the bills. The number of well-paying jobs is far less than the population which forcibly creates poverty through no fault of the people at the bottom. It's completely unavoidable.

When the system says, X% of the population will be in a low wage positions or completely unemployed, how can you possibly blame those people. Some might say, that it's their fault they're on the bottom. That it's their responsibility to get themselves above poverty. This completely ignores basic math. If X% of jobs don't pay enough to live, then X amount of people won't be able to live. There is no option to get out of it.

Capitalism says that you don't have a right to a home but makes a home a commodity that by design can never be afforded by everyone. It's the ultimate bamboozle. Homelessness is not a moral failing, it's a condition people who are less capable are thrown into with no care or empathy for why.

On top of that, people have no idea how hard it is to get out of homelessness. They think if you just stop using drugs, shave, and ask for a job then you won't be homeless anymore. That alone can be the topic for a whole other rant. Anyone who has ever been homeless, worked with them, or had friends or family that have been homeless know that are so many barriers to getting back on your feet.

Yes, there were about 20k murders in 2024. Yes, there are 13k non-citizens convicted of murder. Non-citizens doesn't just mean people who have come illegally. It also includes any non-citizen living legally in the country. But that's not the key.

There are 13k murder convictions over the past few decades. I forget how far back it goes, but it's multiple decades. Most of which were convicted before Biden's administration. It is NOT in anyway how many murders that were committed by immigrants in a year.

This number came from Trump during a speech. That means Trump heard the number of 13k and radically misrepresented it to stoke hate and fear. This is a perfect example of the non-stop lies Trump spews out to manipulate people. It's exactly what racists want to hear.

Additionally, study after study proves that undocumented immigrants commit less crime than those around them. They don't want to draw attention. Immigrants also don't go to police when they are the victim of a crime for fear of police.
