i just don’t think we need a helena backstory episode. i feel like if you watched the scene of her swimming and her father watching her eat a single egg sliced into tiny pieces for breakfast, juxtaposed with miss huang being forced to destroy a toy she loved (that happened to be a swimmer) and you didn’t see helena’s entire childhood flash before your eyes, that’s kinda on you.

I wonder how Helena affected Milchick’s idea of Severance. Because yeah he could just be like “She’s pretending to be Helly” which she was supposed to do but laughing at the Kier story? She definitely wasn’t supposed to do that. It’s something Helly would do though. And it was clearly a genuine laugh not her faking it. And then sleeping with Mark? While Milchick has clearly coped by putting all the blame on Mark for that he has to realize on some level that Helena did go along with it. On some level he’s got to realize that Helena wasn’t just pretending to be Helly. She was BEING Helly. Genuinely. That’s gotta be a reality shattering revelation he’s repressing. He’s been told innies and outies are completely separate people and now here’s evidence that’s not true. Through the EAGAN HEIR. She’s got Kier’s blood and it’s still happening.
