Summary:

Clark Kent was barely fourteen when the sun was predicted to be dimming. The sun, a star that had longer lifespan, bigger mass and steadier power than Earth that’s currently sheltering an alien like him, was dying. Could you imagine? Just as when he finally got a better hold of his flight ability under control, too. He’s… never felt this kind of dread before as someone who should’ve died many times in the past but didn’t, to say the least.

Probably because Clark knew, despite all the mightiness he possessed, there’s nothing he could do about it.
