The Printernet

Many years ago we made a radio sitcom called KLOKWERK that was broadcast on Resonance FM just over 10 years ago. The story is premised on the idea 'what if a famous German electronic band operated a railway station in the West-Midlands in the UK'. The band run the railway station in Whitchurch, a real market-town in Shropshire. Many of the stories are built around real-world locations in that town, and based on Giles' knowledge of Whitchurch from his time growing-up there. Richard realised that today marks almost 10 years to the day that we started working on OMNISPACE!

We were making ourselves feel super dizzy yesterday whilst designing the sound for a very special OMNISPACE scene! We won't give too much away (no spoilers!) but we had loads of fun turning a recording of some honey-making equipment into a piece of twenty-second century space training equipment! OMNISPACE update! We're slowly getting closer to having omnispace ready for broadcast! @dickknittington did an incredible job assembling the edit (~two and a half hours of show content cut from hours upon hours of different takes). All the while @gilesbunch was off swanning around in sunny Deutschland (swipe across for photographic evidence!). Now Giles is back and we're shaping the episodes into something we hope you'll enjoy.
