Episode 2 is out now!
We finally did it — Episode 2 of our radio sitcom The Never Ending Armpit is complete! Tune in to find out how Matilda transforms her café into the Armpit’s answer to fine dining — just as Hermann goes on a hunger strike in a desperate bid to reclaim his house.
Just helped my mother convert an old CD into a digital audio file. It’s of a radioplay and interview of three navy soldiers who fought the Japanese in WW2, and the only recording of my great grandfather, Robert Anderson’s voice.
He was one of those three soldiers, a well decorated and greatly admired man who managed to survive the horrors of the Second World War. He died long before I was born after a new plane he was testing for the Navy malfunctioned and crashed.
Thanks to modern technology, I was able to meet him and two of his comrades today, and it’s the first time in decades my grandmother, his daughter, gets to hear his voice.
Gonna see if I can get my grandmother’s blessing to upload the recordings so more people can meet him too.
