I have little else to say about the show because I feel I have said all that I could say unless I actually sit down and watch it a third time but man it would be beyond painful, but rest assured my hatred still shines bright like the morning sun vanquishing the night ❤️
And as I said it's very important to me that, jokes aside, I put down as clearly as possible why the things that bother me bother me, that it's not just "oh it's not faithful to the games" (although, given that the show owes its popularity precisely to bringing Castlevania back from obscurity during the dark ages, some level of respect for the source material should be expected) or whatever idiotic arguments you find on Twitter by dudebros and grifters. Besides, analyzing is fun! Even, or especially, when you're dissecting Peak writing to put into words why it's so Peak :P sometimes, "it could have been so good if only it was good" becomes less of a lament and more of a rallying cry.
While too much hate is like poison and makes you miserable and should be avoided, I do believe that the right amount of haterism is like drinking a nice glass of wine during dinner. It's good for you and your brain 👍
