The worst, most annoying thing is, all this bullshit is wrapped up in good arguments and issues. There ARE folks in the Left and Centre and even Right trying to push their own agenda on these kids platforms. There IS some serious white privilege BS going on that the world is paying attention to the March like the heroic push it is whilst Black Lives Matter was treated like a mob riot. Expecting kids to fully understand politics IS dangerous! But so many folks on here are reacting to this in THE MOST ridiculous way possible. The slighest hint of something they disagree with, regardless of context or validity and zero fucking fact checking, and they are fucking burying and dismissing a bunch of kids scared for their lives. There’s fucking 20 something assholes on here sitting at their computers complaining that these kids campaigning because THEY’RE TERRIFIED OF DYING WHILST GETTING AND EDUCATION aren’t dismantling our entire capitalistic structure, ending the military industrial complex and decapitating the rich. Oh no, only sharing shitty communist memes and ignoring the vast antisemitism under Lenin can truly bring worthwhile change! God forbid they actually understand they aren’t gonna change the world with one march and are being rational, realistic and politically savvy.
Agreed! These kids are doing so much good but change takes time, they're taking it step by step which is exactly how it should be done!
