thereâs a lot to say and process, but these are the two points i want to make now:
we need to start taking censorship seriously. there is no more room to discuss what kind of content should be restricted or removed. if you give a white republican man an inch, he will take a mile. we need to be fierce and unwavering advocates for freedom of expression. they will ban books, they will ban porn, they will decimate our ability to depict sex, queerness, and pleasure in media. it really is that fucking serious. no more jokes about gooners or hard drive checks. itâs not a joke anymore, itâs their whole platform. they will not stop at art that you personally find gross or distastefulâ they will destroy our ability to create.
we need to protect each other. our communities both online and in person are more important than ever. we cannot eat each other alive. there has always been a bigger enemy, and now that enemy is in power. our trans and immigrant friends are the first in the firing line. we need to uplift, encourage, champion, and protect the people around us. nothing else is more important.
protect art. protect each other. thatâs the work, and it starts now.
one day Iâll finally write that ridiculously elaborate fanfiction that Iâve been carefully constructing in my daydreams for months and then youâll be sorry. youâll all be sorry.
reblog this if youâre jewish or your blog is a safe space for jewish people
in light of recent events as well as a new rise in creating nazi ocs I think this post is an important one to have on your blog if you stand behind your jewish followers or are jewish yourself.

Hey this is just a little blurb that I did. Just from a random prompt so hey hope you like it!
Dandy Mott x Reader. âCan you picture it? You and I together?â
Warnings: talk about stalking and murder. Technically this is Stockholm syndrome just so you know
Word count: 503
Enjoy đ
Y/N sat up confused. She was laid down on a chaise lounge and looked down at her body. She was dwarfed in a mint green dress, it had accents of turquoise lacing on the edges and on the bodice. Just at that moment, a man walked in. He was dressed in a blue, white, and red striped blazer with a white shirt and cream pants.
âHello, Iâm Dandy Mott! Youâre finally awake. Iâve been waiting for you for days, but I took the liberty of changing and bathing you.â Y/N looked at him and slowly nodded, still not entirely sure where she was. But she knows she's seen this man before.
âMother said I couldn't have you, but mother is gone now and I can have whatever I want, especially with my inheritance.â He sat down next to Y/N, pushing some hair out of her face, âIâve always loved your act in the freak show, you bend and move so weirdly. Itâs so,â he pauses, âRefreshing. Don't you think so?â
He stands up and places his hand out to take darlas, and she does it. âMother said I could never marry a freak, said it would disgrace our already messed up family. She doesnât know anything about love.â He said through gritted teeth, hand slightly tightening around darlas. She flinched, âDandy.â She says and he loosens his grip with a soft sorry.
âCan you picture it, Y/N? You and I together? Married and living happily.â He says while looking deep into his eyes. Something about him absolutely astonishes her, like a breath of air after being underwater too long. And she nods, because he seems to want her, freak and all.
âYes Y/N. We could be happy together.â He smiles hard and wraps his arms around Y/Nâs waist. He leans in slowly to kiss her, giving her time to push him away, since that's what Bette and Dot did. But Y/N wasnât like them, she smiled and grabbed Dandyâs face pulling him into a smiling kiss. âDandy, no one has shown me more affection in the last 20 years than you have in the last 10 minuets. I would be absolutely ecstatic to be Mrs. Dandy Mott.â
He kisses her again, so in love with this woman that he admittedly stalked for two months. But she doesnât need to know that.
A month later they were Mr. and Mrs. Mott with a baby on the way. He told her about how he has killed before and who it was, which didnât really bother her because she has killed plenty of abusive parents of her girls at the freak show. They will honestly not be missed.
Dandy does love Y/N. Sheâs the first woman who hasnât shunned him. She accepts him and his cure for his boredom and he loves her for it. He also shows her every day how much he loves her. (take that as you want). They end up with just the one kid whom they spoil to their heartâs content.
Easy. I never started.

Worlds Collide
Soulmate auÂ
Balem Abrasax x Reader
Warning(s): Cuss words, implied smut at the very endÂ
A/N: i tried to make it as gender neutral as possible and if there are any mess ups im sorry because i definitely wrote this under two hours and without my glasses because i was excited that i finally had the urge to write
word count:Â 1038
Soulmates aren't a foreign concept to me. I know I have one because I have their age that we would meet on my wrist. However I assumed that I would never meet them seeing as the age on my wrist was 14,005. So I'm either soulmates with someone whoâs been long dead or a god and i'm not sure which one I hate more. I accepted long ago that Iâm never going to meet my soulmate so I chose to forget about him or her. I had both of my arms heavily covered in tattoos. Secretly I still know the age though,
I sighed as I walked home from my job, something felt off but I silently hoped it was nothing. Every once in a while I would look over my shoulder. Nothing. Again. I still sped up taking different routes hoping that whoever was following me would get lost.Â
âIs that them?â I heard a whisper. I turned around, seeing weird flesh colored things staring as me. Before I could scream they raised something that I could only describe as a blaster and shot it at me.Â
Waking up in a cold sweat in a room you donât know does something to peopleâs brains. So when it happened to me I was kind of taken aback. I looked around and everything was either black or gold. The bed you were tucked into was in a slight oval shape. The sheets were black while the duvet was black with what looked like gold branches. I sat up, confused about what was happening.Â
âOh. It seems youâre awake.â I looked around trying to find where the voice came from but couldnât figure it out. âI am what you would call an A.I. on your planet.â The voice said.Â
My planet? Where the fuck am I? I suddenly started floating and was pulled from the bed to stand up.I noticed that they changed me into a floor length black dress/ or black suit. âIâll let Lord Baleem know that youâre awake.â Lord?Â
âWho the fuck names their kid Balem?â I wondered out loud.Â
âAnd who names their kid Y/N.â The voice was like velvet. It sent chills down my spine. I turned quickly to see if this was also an A.I. but saw a man clothed in an all black suit that surprisingly looked freaking amazing on him. He kept walking closer to me until I was backed up against a wall. âPersonal space is a thing you know.â I said, not really thinking about what was going to happen as I was lost in his eyes. Something about him just captivated me, he was just so pretty even though he looks like he wants to kill everyone in his sight.Â
âYou. Iâve been looking for you.â He looked down at my arms and I subconsciously hid the one with my soulmark behind me. âSo you are ashamed.â Even though it was a question, coming from his lips it sounded more like a statement. Something about it though, pissed me off. I could never be ashamed of my soulmate.Â
âWho are you to tell me that I am ashamed of my soulmate? You donât know anything about me.â I said, puffing my chest which wasnât the best idea. He grabbed me by the neck, pushing me further into the wall. âI know the age of your soulmark. But I want to know why you covered it.â He whispered harshly in my ear. My nerves when haywire. Where his hand landed on my skin left the skin there tingly. Iâm so fucking confused.Â
âWeâre going to loop back as to how you know but having the age that's well over 1,000 years old, I just assumed I would never meet them. How did you know?â He just stared at me. Balem slowly let go of my neck and showed me his wrist, which is my age but like, so many people are that age so I donât know what heâs trying to say.Â
âYours has 14,005. I want you to guess my age, darling.â Oh. Oh! He's my soulmate. Holy shit I have a soulmate! Still though, itâs kind of fun to mess with him. âLike 28?â I asked and he just rolled his eyes at me and looked at me with bored eyes.Â
âLook around you. You are not on Earth. You are on Jupiter. So again, why would I take you from your planet if you provide nothing for me?â I smiled at him and shrugged. He sighed and pulled me into him, shoving his face into my neck. âIâve been looking everywhere for you. Iâm never letting you go.â
âCan I still have my phone to talk to my friends?â I asked while looping my arms around him and he nodded, probably to shut me up. Suddenly the door vooshed open and a tiny little mouse looking man rushed in, spouting something about a harvest? Balem didnât move from my neck and I just looked at both of them and shrugged.Â
âMy lord I really need to-â âGet out.â Balem mumbled into my neck. â What did you say my lord?â the rat man asked.Â
Balem slowly peeled himself from me, standing to his full height. Heâs so pretty. He covered my ears with his hands and I just looked at him but I understood as soon as I heard a muffled âGet out!â.Â
We ended up just taking a bath together, his head on my chest while I ran my fingers through his hair. âAlien man? Are you like a king or something?â He moved his head to look at me in the eyes with a lazy smile. âI have a large amount of wealth and own several planets so I guess you could say that.â I nodded looking at him, âEat the rich.âÂ
Balem just stared at me, âYou know that because youâre my soulmate, you are also rich now?â I kissed his lips, both of us smiling into it, âI know spaceman, so are you going to eat the rich or not?â He smirked at me and pulled us both out of the water, âOf course I am, soulmate.â
Yo I know like no one will probably read this but can you link your favorite Loki x reader? Iâm sick in bed(probably with COVID my test isnât back yet) but I need my mans Loki

Because of the Fifth Amendment, no one in the U.S. may legally be forced to testify against himself, and because of the Fourth Amendment, no oneâs records or belongings may legally be searched or seized without just cause. However, American police are trained to use methods of deception, intimidation and manipulation to circumvent these restrictions. In other words, cops routinely break the lawâin letter and in spiritâin the name of enforcing the law. Several examples of this are widely known, if not widely understood.
1) âDo you know why I stopped you?â Cops ask this, not because they want to have a friendly chat, but because they want you to incriminate yourself. They are hoping you will âvoluntarilyâ confess to having broken the law, whether it was something they had already noticed or not. You may think you are apologizing, or explaining, or even making excuses, but from the copâs perspective, you are confessing. He is not there to serve you; he is there fishing for an excuse to fine or arrest you. In asking you the familiar question, he is essentially asking you what crime you just committed. And he will do this without giving you any âMirandaâ warning, in an effort to trick you into testifying against yourself.
2) âDo you have something to hide?â Police often talk as if you need a good reason for not answering whatever questions they ask, or for not consenting to a warrantless search of your person, your car, or even your home. The ridiculous implication is that if you havenât committed a crime, you should be happy to be subjected to random interrogations and searches. This turns the concept of due process on its head, as the cop tries to put the burden on you to prove your innocence, while implying that your failure to âcooperateâ with random harassment must be evidence of guilt.
3) âCooperating will make things easier on you.â The logical converse of this statement implies that refusing to answer questions and refusing to consent to a search will make things more difficult for you. In other words, you will be punished if you exercise your rights. Of course, if they coerce you into giving them a reason to fine or arrest you, they will claim that you âvoluntarilyâ answered questions and âconsentedâ to a search, and will pretend there was no veiled threat of what they might do to you if you did not willingly âcooperate.â (Such tactics are also used by prosecutors and judges via the procedure of âplea-bargaining,â whereby someone accused of a crime is essentially told that if he confesses guiltâthus relieving the government of having to present evidence or prove anythingâthen his suffering will be reduced. In fact, âplea bargainingâ is illegal in many countries precisely because it basically constitutes coerced confessions.)
4) âWeâll just get a warrant.â Cops may try to persuade you to âconsentâ to a search by claiming that they could easily just go get a warrant if you donât consent. This is just another ploy to intimidate people into surrendering their rights, with the implication again being that whoever inconveniences the police by requiring them to go through the process of getting a warrant will receive worse treatment than one who âcooperates.â But by definition, one who is threatened or intimidated into âconsentingâ has not truly consented to anything.
5.) We have someone who will testify against you Police âinformantsâ are often individuals whose own legal troubles have put them in a position where they can be used by the police to circumvent and undermine the constitutional rights of others. For example, once the police have something to hold over one individual, they can then bully that individual into giving false, anonymous testimony which can be used to obtain search warrants to use against others. Even if the informant gets caught lying, the police can say they didnât know, making this tactic cowardly and illegal, but also very effective at getting around constitutional restrictions.
6) âWe can hold you for 72 hours without charging you.â Based only on claimed suspicion, even without enough evidence or other probable cause to charge you with a crime, the police can kidnap youâor threaten to kidnap youâand use that to persuade you to confess to some relatively minor offense. Using this tactic, which borders on being torture, police can obtain confessions they know to be false, from people whose only concern, then and there, is to be released.
7) âIâm going to search you for my own safety.â Using so-called âTerry frisksâ (named after the Supreme Court case of Terry v. Ohio, 392 U.S. 1), police can carry out certain limited searches, without any warrant or probable cause to believe that a crime has been committed, under the guise of checking for weapons. By simply asserting that someone might have a weapon, police can disregard and circumvent the Fourth Amendment prohibition on unreasonable searches.
U.S. courts have gone back and forth in deciding how often, and in what circumstances, tactics like those mentioned above are acceptable. And of course, police continually go far beyond anything the courts have declared to be âlegalâ anyway. But aside from nitpicking legal technicalities, both coerced confessions and unreasonable searches are still unconstitutional, and therefore âillegal,â regardless of the rationale or excuses used to try to justify them. Yet, all too often, cops show that to them, the Fourth and Fifth Amendmentsâand any other restrictions on their powerâare simply technical inconveniences for them to try to get around. In other words, they will break the law whenever they can get away with it if it serves their own agenda and power, and they will ironically insist that they need to do that in order to catch âlaw-breakersâ (the kind who donât wear badges).
Of course, if the above tactics fail, police can simply bully people into confessingâfalsely or truthfullyâand/or carry out unconstitutional searches, knowing that the likelihood of cops having to face any punishment for doing so is extremely low. Usually all that happens, even when a search was unquestionably and obviously illegal, or when a confession was clearly coerced, is that any evidence obtained from the illegal search or forced confession is excluded from being allowed at trial. Of course, if there is no trialâeither because the person plea-bargains or because there was no evidence and no crimeâthe âexclusionary ruleâ creates no deterrent at all. The police can, and do, routinely break the law and violate individual rights, knowing that there will be no adverse repercussions for them having done so.
Likewise, the police can lie under oath, plant evidence, falsely charge people with âresisting arrestâ or âassaulting an officer,â and commit other blatantly illegal acts, knowing full well that their fellow gang membersâofficers, prosecutors and judgesâwill almost never hold them accountable for their crimes. Even much of the general public still presumes innocence when it comes to cops accused of wrong-doing, while presuming guilt when the cops accuse someone else of wrong-doing. But this is gradually changing, as the amount of video evidence showing the true nature of the âStreet Gang in Blueâ becomes too much even for many police-apologists to ignore.
http://www.alternet.org/civil-liberties/7-ways-police-will-break-law-threaten-or-lie-you-get-what-they-want
One of the biggest realizations with dealing with cops for me was the fact that they CAN lie, they are 100% legally entitled to lie, and they WILL whether youâre a victim of crime, accused of committing a crime or anything else
Everyone needs to reblog this, it could save a life.
Important
Seriously if you ever find yourself in custody donât say shit until youâve got some counsel with you. No cop is your friend in that situation.
Heeeyyyyy if anyone is thinking âa lawyer!?! But I thought lawyers were bad and greedy.â
Remember where you heard that and consider why.

Show Me?
Y/N had been dating Hannibal for almost a year now. He knew it couldn't go on for much longer, otherwise she'd find out about what he is and then he'd have to kill her or brainwash her, whichever came first. However, she already knew about his food endeavors. She wasn't angry or disgusted. She was impressed by how someone can kill so elegantly and right under Jack's nose.
"Y/N," he called from the bathroom while she was laying on his gigantic bed. Y/N hummed in response, nose deep in a book. "We need to have a talk, dear. Perhaps over dinner tonight? Go home and get ready." Y/N happily nodded and got up from her position and set the book down on the nightstand. Silently walking over to him while he was still in his towel, she kissed him on the cheek and walked out of the house with keys in hand.
