Andressa:

responsible for all the people in kind of a motherly way to the point where everyone calls her mother or mother andressa

Those who randomly appeared in Dreamlake one day, and came from the real world.

Cerridon: They/Them | 25 Chill af stoner musician with a tv head. In a band with Viemet.

Party: She/It/Party | 18

Decora themed hyper and bouncy kid who loves decorating anything and everything. Everyone protects her to let her continue to be a kid as much as they can. Drawings can be found randomly around the place that party has done.

Viemet:

He/She | 20

If her ears aren't covered she hears the air make a constant droning static (that only she can hear) so she wears headphones to avoid it. Loves music because it also drowns out the static, and is in a band with Cerridon. Sometimes has off days where his muscles feel like static and he locks himself in his room.

Adelaide:

She/Her | 27

Physically made of stardust and can be more or less solid depending on the day. There are some days where she is literally just a mist, just a small floating galaxy of stars in her room. She is one of the most optimistic of the group despite how much she struggles. Tries to be there for Rastro because she feels their situations are similar, but Rastro disagrees.

Xeiryx:

Ze/It | 28

Nonbinary computer (haha get it? binary? no but seriously it doesn't have any code no one knows how it's software works or if it even has any.) Loves to joke around and will almost always commit to a bit. Zir body kinda twitches sometimes due to a sort of electrical zap that ze feels every so often in nerves and muscles. Best friends with Koah. processing disorder (bro does not have enough ram).

Clear:

Half dead boy haunted by spirits and shadows. Wishing and waiting for his boyfriend who died.

Koah:

He/It/Void | 28

He is a shadow and he can use shadows to walk through walls. Kind of a menace. Best friends with Xeiryx.

Therelia:

She/Her | 30

Doesn't remember anything before coming to Dreamlake. Still has some short term memory issues on and off. Always buried in a book. Can't remember anything because someone gave her trauma so severe that her brain suppresses it and when she got to Dreamlake, the usual partial memory loss from that suppressed everything else. The only reason she knows she isn't from there is because Andressa told her that, but she tries not to think about it.

Randomly explodes into colors at any random time and magnitude. Never leaves her room in fear of hurting someone. No proof if the explosion could hurt others, and she hasn't confirmed if the explosions hurt herself. The only one who has tried talking to her is Adelaide and the conversations are one sided.

Zephyr:

Flamboyant bunny boy with a bit of an ego. A lot of people find him annoying but he thinks they're just jealous.

Witz:

He/They/It | 23

Has a clock for an eye and always knows exactly what time it is and how long has passed. He's convinced he could control time itself if he tried (and if Andressa let him.)

Kirk:

Bat boy.

Noah:

Where is originally a jester in a sort of fantasy world, not exactly like how jesters were historically. There are many jesters there and even more entertainers in general of a large variety. Where just happens to be incredibly good at what it does and is one of the top jesters in that category. They are an anarchist and how that specifically affects their stories is they prey on the government/monarchy/etc's downfall, not necessarily pray for it, unless given reason to. This does not mean that they'll keep their snide comments to themself. Where is never afraid to use it's jester's privilege.

Post death Where is cursed (or blessed?) to continuously reincarnate in thousands of different worlds, live thousands of different lives (although they retain their memories and prefers to not stray too far from their entertainment roots), and cause as much chaos and have as much fun as their heart desires, until their next life, and the next one.

They are trying to get back to their original world. Other worlds don't have much meaning to it besides temporary fun.

It has lost a slight grip on reality from all this reincarnating. It also enjoys convincing others that it is not real, although sometimes convincing itself of that as well.

Where Lore

In their previous world they were known by many names. Who, What, Where, When, Why, and sometimes How. An entertainer who could become whatever their audience desired. They could dance, they could sing, they could even create objects out of thin air. This life fulfilled them more than any other.

They had many friends in this world. They were constantly surrounded by loved ones who were always entertained by their antics, and fellow entertainer friends who joined them in their shows.

Good comes with the bad, and with success comes jealousy. Many were jealous of their charismatic charm and success, but it didn't bother them. Not until their closest friend's demeanor changed quite suddenly one night.

The entertainer woke up in soft grass, in a completely unfamiliar environment. It appears, unfortunately, that their immortal life as an entertainer had come to an end, and a new life was theirs to create. Their previous life had been their best life, and they took one of they many names, Where, as their only name for this one. It was fitting, as Where felt they didn't fit into any other world apart from their own, and was lost forever.

When I was a young child, soldiers raided our part of the forest. My parents were taken and executed, but my older sister Lila and I were hidden down in a huge tree that my parents had her hollow out just in case they came for us. Before they left us, my mother made us promise to fight to stay alive for a long long time, no matter if they ever came for us again. And then they were gone. Over the years Lila took as best care of me as she could and even got a job as an artificer for one of the few wizards still left. She became one of the best artificers around and I admired and idolized her, and learned as much as I could in hopes to one day be just like her. Sometimes she'd even have me shift into different creatures to collect materials from various places, and would reward me with personal engineering lessons to enhance my skills. If I got something extra special she would reward me with a special tool to add to my collection. My sister was near perfect, but she struggled with one thing. She had developed an illness that degraded her body over the years. Bits and pieces of her flesh would die and there was nothing we could do. She would just lose parts of herself, and one day she herself would die in entirety. Healing potions and spells never worked, and we had begun to give up hope. Until one day when I was working on my own projects and built a flexible mechanical glove that moved with the movement of my own arm. That gave her an idea.

She told me I was helping her. She would always remind me; "Remember? Remember what mother said before she left? She made us promise Maize! She made us promise to stay alive for a long long time!" Lila couldn't stay alive if this disease consumed her completely, and her skills were far too important to risk something going wrong. If something went wrong with me though I'd still live. I'd just be built a little wrong. And I couldn't bear the thought of something happening to the one and only person that I had left. And so I let her continue every time. Through all the cutting of her knife and scratching of the gears and the loss of my perfectly good body. And the blood, oh the blood. The scent of it still puts me off to this day. Her mechanics worked, of course they worked. I had no doubt of her skill. Sometimes I wonder if she even doubted it herself, or if she just wanted someone to share in her suffering.

One day the soldiers came back. They had discovered the wizard had been working with a fae, and they captured her. She was executed later that day, I never even had a chance to save her. All I had to remember her by was my tools, and the silvery scars on my skin all across my body, where hidden underneath was an expertly constructed combination of organic flesh and organs, and metal plates and gears. I am thankful to that metal. It had kept my sister alive for the past two years. If the goddess hadn't taken her from me, who knows how much longer I could have helped Lila live. I miss her. I would have given her every single piece of my flesh if it meant I could've seen her live the rest of the life she should have had. I left that part of the forest the next day. I couldn't stand to see it anymore. I lived many miles away in a tree I had hollowed out myself. I hid there on the day I heard the familiar sound of soldiers, this time discovering the opening where I was. I had wished my sister had still been with me that day. She would have done much better than I had at hollowing the tree.

He pushed himself up from the floor to sit and collect himself. The ground was cold, and kind of wet. His clothes were a bit wet too. Was it raining? Is that what he had heard, or was it the static buzzing in his ears. Running his hand over his neck he quickly realized the wet wasn’t rain, but blood. The previous events all crashed through his mind at once. Still trying to grasp his reality, he heard shuffling in front of him. A familiar face appeared, and a protective panic struck him. “Stay away from me!” he screamed as he scrambled to stand up. He began to run as far away as he could through the forest. They were in danger, he was dangerous, and could never see them again.

Micah sifts through the dvds in his room, trying to find a good one to put on. He's sitting in his best friend Echo's room waiting for him to come back with snacks.
