Like. I remember back in my grocery store cashier days I did so much crazy shit.

When WIC (Women, infants, and children voucher program to help low income mothers/families with children) people were in my line I would pretty much know who they were. Before the cards they had to tell us upfront they were WIC and show us their vouchers for what they were allowed to get (it was awful some times. Like. 2 gallons of milk. $4 worth of vegetables etc etc). They’d always have items hanging back, waiting to see what the total was and if they would have to take it off the belt.

I began to place the fruits/vegetables a certain way on the register scale so that like 1/2lbs of grapes read as like .28lbs or something. Then act shocked when I said that they still had X amount of lbs left. They got all their fruit and vegetables.

I think it started to kinda? Catch on to the women? Because I would have the same moms in my line month after month. And even after they switched to the cards (they worked like food stamp cards?) I’d still do the same thing. They were able to get more produce for whatever shitty max amount Indiana gave them.

So, I have been writing a bit down for this idea. But didn't know how I wanted to put it together. So I'm just tossing this out there while I work out kinks. This is an AU where Alastor was told to be in contact with the hotel and Charlie before the pilot.

Rosie and Alastor have tea with the the princess, while she's acting interested in the hotel. And Rosie throws Alastor under the bus, saying how she is concerned about his insomnia. And Charlie, already being primed to take him as both an employee and guest, suggests taking medication for that. Especially since she also believes he has anxiety (he does). Which leads to her getting a decapitated Exorcists body on her porch. And going to the Overlord meeting in Alastor's steed (despite what happens in canon), because she tries to get him to see if he's better on medication when an Extermination is not happening. So when the Angel's head is thrown on the table, Charlie is awkwardly laughing. "Haha, sooo. I guess that's where their head went? Ah. About that? I gave Alastor Ambien."

He writes a grocery list and it becomes 14 pages of seasoning.

He looks up at the sky, ears flat against the back of his head, saying shit like "The stars are weeping."

"They're looking at me, Charlie. They're looking at me with all those eyes. They're winking at me! Make them stop! They're being gross."

"I wish I didn't hear the whispering. They make me nauseous. They're all different notes and it grates on my nerves. And they won't stop shit talking you."

Mind you, you can't *see* stars in Pride Ring's sky. And later, it's found out that he was listening in on Heaven through his electromagnetic waves.

He turns into a deer. A genuine deer. Frequently. But he walks around only on his hind legs, like he thinks they're still his human ish ones. He always seems stunned when he can't pick up things with his hooves, like he goes to reach for a glass, only to clink against it and realize he doesn't have fingers.

He's having a panic attack because of a 'dream'.

"I saw God. But God was a fish with too many fins and eyes for scales. He was floating down the water in my bayou on a surfboard. And told me that, just as he created light, he could take the light from me. And all my fireflies died. Sucks to suck, though. They are an extension of me, and God cannot kill me in a way that matters. So I doubled my fireflies."

Charlie takes him off Ambien.

Vox puts him back on. And regrets it.

So like, at what point of Zuko's reign did he legalize being gay?

Well, darn. You'a caught us banning a disproportionate number of'a trans women and people of'a color. These suspensions took ten thousand'a years to reverse, and some of them we didn't even reverse because we'a fucking hate you.

We'a sorry it took so long to address this! We'a really hoping our pathetic april fools gimmick'a distract everyone else to'a forget about the situation! And for most of you, it'a worked! We'a can't discuss our trust and safety issues publicly because the paper on our board just'a say "get rid of all the people we consider freaky" and if we announce that we'a gonna lose our privilaged "Tumblr’s userbase has the highest proportion of LGBTQIA+ folks on social media" claim!

One thing we want to emphasize is that we are stupid, stupid, stupid'a people. Our CEO, Matt Mullenweg, is a pathetic moron who'a try sucking up to'a Elon Musk on'a X despite the tire fire over there. You'a know he searches up his own name and harasses Tumblr blogs whenever they'a say bad things about him, right? We moderate this website with extreme bias and will cry like'a babies when called out on it.

We understand that the communications sent to affected'a users, and our broader silence to'a the community, didn't meet the standard people expect from us. Or rather, it has become the standard and the userbase'a livid with us. We'a plan on announcing changes to how we do this and not actually following through with them, because we'a do not care.

Going forward, we're committed to ruling with impunity: lying wholesale when confronted with our'a faults, and never sharing any information outside of'a vagueposting.

Tumblr belongs to everyone. Except'a minorities, people of color, trans women, and anyone who'a advocates for them.

1st drawing: I find it funny how Human Alastor tries to be a sort of a polite gentlemen while dating Lucifer. *sideye* blood pudding.

And then there Demon Alastor whose first time seeing Lucifer after he got stranded back in time was like “we’ve wasted enough time, come here!’ And just grabs and smooches him lol
