My grandmother tells me that she thinks I drink too much water but that woman also seems to live off of half a cup of water and a can of Diet Coke a day and just sucks on hard candy when she feels thirsty so idk if it’s growing up in the 40s and 50s that made her like that or if that’s just how she is but I’m pretty sure she’s been dehydrated for the past 70 years or so

genuinely like i know its tempting but if anyone knows or even thinks somebody is trans they can almost always find SOMETHING to "prove" that, even if the thing is just some made up bullshit like "i can see the female in your eyes" and often times the person isnt even actually trans. also people irl arent like looking for trans features in other people, like if you have a vaguely masculine look about you they probably wont look twice at you. i get messages like "you look like a woman with a beard. nobody thinks youre a man" but like nobody irl clocks me unless im wearing a transgender themed shirt. if you want to see if you pass go interact with people irl (organically) and see how they treat and refer to you and go off that. and this isnt always the case but if you start getting weird looks in the womens restroom its probably time to use the mens

one genre of fanfiction that seems to have mostly disappeared since i became an adult is shenanigans-type fics. like not exactly crack but just "the gang goes to 7-11" type, extremely low-stakes plot stories. the beach episodes of fanfiction. i just feel like i don't see those around so much anymore. whered they go. i miss them :(
