but then I realised that same challenge would be infinitely more funny with folks who have atypical or horror OCs

I feel I've done something similar, but I'll give some.

In no particular order:

"The Danes were noted to bathe once a week, which meant the Anglo-Saxons were all dirty and gross!" No-one likes being dirty or gross, especially in the Medieval period. But bathing in the time was something that took a lot of stuff to do, and most of the 'bathing' done by the Danes in England was done in rivers and streams, whereas a regular Anglo-Saxon peasant would have WASHED their hands and face with a cloth from a basin to clean themselves, and the elites could definitely afford heated water baths. WASHED and BATHED are two different things.

"Medieval plate armour was so heavy that it was near impossible for them to move in!" This is one is really a two parter but I'll give my main and favourite comeback: If it was so heavy and near impossible to move in, why was it even developed and used for nearly a two-hundred year period? Inventions aren't used if they don't work. Plate armour was used, therefore it worked.

... I've run out of myths. I'm drawing a blank on others.

I'm going to be a dick and say that's a myth too, since it just... it just doesn't work. So many Medieval weapons need a lot of clearance to use well, and Medieval towers are horribly confined spaces, so much so that really only knifes are the best for fighting with in such a space. And whoever is going up the tower will have the advantage because they can protect their head with a shield and their helmet while striking at the defender's feet and legs.
