I was deeply saddened to hear Sir Christopher Lee passed away at the age of 93. A special operative in real life and a film legend on screen, his life was one of wonder and inspiration. His portrayal of Saruman the White, my once friend turned enemy, stayed true to the memory inscribed by Prof. Tolkien. A true Tolkien fan by heart, he rereads the Lord of the Rings every year, and his memory will live on with the timeless books. With your boots on, do you seen a white shore across the Sea? 外面的世界很无奈

Merry T'mas! The wizard cares not for the birth of Jesus Christ, but the birth of Prof. Tolkien is a day to celebrate, for he has brought to us a world to call home when the hither world fails. May the curtain of this world roll back so that we see once again the light of Varda!

Feminism is not man hating, it is the belief of gender equality. To be a feminist is not a complicated choice, for both women and men are suffering from a society based on gender roles and male dominance. Sometimes the harms are subtle, sometimes they can be violent, but they are always present. I was only miles away from the recent UCSB shooting, which stemmed from the belief that men are entitled to female sexuality. In the end, we all paid the price. Shall we join Hermione in the quest for equality?
