Intro -
You can call me Wren. I use they/them pronouns and consider myself agender.
I am 25 in case it matters to you.
Disabilities -
There is a laundry list tbh. Main one is vEDS or vascular Ehlers Danlos syndrome. It is actually not that similar to hEDS. I personally have generalized hypermobility and instability but that is actually considered a separate thing - most vEDS patients have limited hypermobility.
I have organ dysfunction related to the faulty collagen but every one has a separate name so my specialists can get paid and I don’t feel like writing them all out. I will tag the name on related posts.
I will likely die from vascular or organ complications from vEDS. My life expectancy is in my 40’s. It’s not a guarantee and I don’t consider myself terminal but it is a fact I have to live with. I will talk about it and I need people to be normal about it.
I experience hallucinations. No clue why - it’s not super distressing for me personally just annoying mostly.
Extra Info-
I live in Appalachia and I have complicated feelings about it. It is not the monolith that everyone thinks it is. There are very real problems (many of them systemic) but there are also a lot of good people.
