reading: mostly fics teehee but also inconsistently reading a book about a high schooler who agrees to investigate her friend's boyfriend to see why he has started acting differently within their relationship... had to start something so i had an answer whenever my MIL would question me about what i was reading. couldn't really describe my fics to her looool

last series: currently watching the most recent Witcher season (it's a struggle tbh, but i'm committed) but i'm also watching Culinary Class Wars (i love cooking competition shows)

working on: playing around with too many ideas atm. but last night i started sorta writing a maxcar fic inspired by the song 'andrew in drag' but idk. i really want to start posting more writing because why not but we will see what ends up happening. working on: I have a poetry recitation competition on Wednesday and I really want to go to regionals again this year however. I forgot to memorize the poems. so I started on Friday and I now have 1/4 I need to have memorized done!! gotta get the other three in my brain as well <3

Reading: I'm working through a read of Heroes of Olympus (Percy Jackson) aswell as a reread of a niche book series I liked a lot growing up called The Missing by Margaret Peterson (more people should be into this series its so good....) BUT i also now want to reread every moomins book. so ive got a lot on my plate right now , other than that, a lot of fanfiction.

Reading: I don't really have a lot of time for reading right now ? (Besides my 10 open fanfic tabs of course) But book-wise I'm working my way though 'the Rise of Io' (which. I only ended up buying bc it was SUPER cheap. Like two dollars. I felt like a criminal. And the set up is kind of similar to Malevolent in the way that the MC gets a voice stuck in yheir head that is bossy and ageless and also a liar. I'm like halfway through it's pretty good) AND ! Coffee or tea: iiii do not drink coffee. Caffeine’s not good for me since my gastrointestinal system hates me. I really like vanilla and rooibos tea with some sugar tho!

Sweet or salty: depends on the day tbh. I often really like salty foods like baked potato with butter and salt, but at the same time i am a SUCKER for ice cream and custard <333

Working on: a few things, though they’re kinda postponed due to me being s i c k :/. Gonns get back to them tho! I’ve been knitting a scarf, i need to draw an au design for one of my ocs, i plan on drawing a friend’s oc because they’re awesome, aaaand i’m starting on a fae based oc world.

Reading: At the moment, my main read is "It Came From the Closet: Queer Reflections on Media", a collection of essays about queerness in horror media! Really smart and fun read, highly recommend! I've also really been getting into webcomics, the main two being "New Magical Me" about a magical girl group where the leader grows up to be a trans guy, and "High Spirits Neoma" about a girl with powers to see spirits and heal curses uncovering old family secrets with her classmates in the south.

Last series: I don't watch a lot of tv haha! I guess I should try to finish The Summer Hikaru Died and Apothecary Diaries. I've also been listening to The Second Citadel from the Penumbra Podcast and Stellar Firma by Rusty Quill.

Last movie: Last movie I watched in theaters was Iron Lung, which was so unbelievable god tier and fire. On streaming, I'm in the middle of Sinners! I'm a little slow when I watch stuff on my own haha.

Last song: Badger by Fish in a Birdcage! I really need to listen to more of his music, but that particular song just really sticks with me, so good.

Coffee or tea: Heheheeeeee I don't really drink either. I'll take a hot chocolate though!

Sweet or salty: I'm largely a sweets person, but you've gotta have some salt to balance out the flavors!

Working on: I have a worldbuilding project that everyone I'm tagging is definitely going to look at me very strongly for not working on and filling out this post instead lol... Otherwise, I've been kicking the can around to my audio drama project, some lore for my roleplay OCs, and most recently a horror trope inspired magical girl group!

Reading: I’m always reading multiple books. Currently I’m reading

daydream: a rom com about a hockey player struggling with one of his college classes who accidentally crashes a girl’s book club. It’s cute so far.

The bronzed beasts: the third book in the gilded wolves trilogy. Very fun urban fantasy series with themes of found family and colonialism.

And I’m also reading the fellowship of the ring. But I’m sure ppl know what lord of the rings is by now lol.

Last series: For podcast I also just finished malevolent.

And for show the last show I watched was Pluribus.

Both are FANTASTIC!!

Last movie: Kung fu panda 3. It was pretty good but 2 was better.
