I hope that our generation's women become mothers who are their daughter's go to person, a safe place, a mentor, a friend, i hope we braid their hair with love in our hands, handle their hearts with utmost most delicacy, nuture their body image, self worth, confidence and watch them become beautiful successful humans with empathy, a great sense of self and kindness.

The audacity of mothers to be mean and abusive to their daughters knowing what they went through as a woman at the hands of the society

At the end of the day, its just you and all the feelings you felt listening to folklore for the first time

Actually no, my bed is my sanctuary. Its precious.

I think having parents whom you could turn to at any minor or major inconvenience knowing they would still love you and accept you with warmth love and respect and most of all support you, are such an underrated blessing and a sadly privilege that not everyone gets

Some people are like "yeahh those books you read, they are stupid", you know what's really stupid??? you dumbass!! Not having the ability to develop empathy and the emotional depth to relate to or understand the complexity of fictional characters because you think you are above vulnerability and that somehow makes you superior

You seem pretty kind and loving for a world so cruel

There's so many perspectives, a million stories, how can you be sure what you know is the truth or what you think is right is actually right, its all grey, the history, the narratives, the stereotypes who knows if its all a ruse, if its all a lie to hide another lie? Who knows if we'll ever know the reality or if there's such a thing as one and only reality. Its just so overwhelming and depressing at the same time
