hey so some people are just happier & more functional not living with a partner. this isn’t necessarily even an aromantic thing. some people are just genuinely better-suited to living alone, no matter their relationship status. 

#sharing-a-home is the norm bc of social & financial reasons  #but wanting a private space or household doesn’t make you weird or less committed  #and while we’re at it the same goes for not wanting to see your partner every single day of the week.  #you can love someone and still prefer to spend a lot of time alone  #you can be serious about someone and still not want to see them every day  #everyone needs breaks and time to themselves  #the trick is finding a balance  #and different balances work for different people
