Homeward Bound

Hey!!!! I’ve been working on a little platformer that I’m using for my third year project where I’m trying to see if I can procedurally generate difficulty. Your results get put in the same place as the game, and playing more than once will create more results files.

the end is really high in the sky, like, REALLY high, and the aether (or a version of it) is inbetween

there’s a shadowy realm of caves, crystals, and weird magic shit between the overworld and the nether

herobrine is associated with the end, the nether, and the shadowlands because he and the enderdragon are the reasons the portals exist, and villainbane looks after the overworld and the aether. Alex and steve are siblings who have been warped into the world of minecraft by a mysterious force.

Steve is kind, patient, and loves to explore, whereas Alex is chaotic, and loves to build things to mark where she’s been.  Villainbane protects steve, and grants him abilities to befriend even creepers and ghasts, while Herobrine has given alex abilities to use in combat, as well as luck in finding whatever she needs to work on her next weapon. 

There are void beings known as farlanders, who come from distant and broken lands, and it was them who brought the siblings to the world. It was they who imprisoned the ghasts in the nether, and who chained the enderdragon to the end. It was they who tried to contain herobrine, and ended up making him nearly unkillable, and it was they who seek only control over their world.

Alex fights with potions, with potion arrows, and enchantments of massive power, while steve asks his mob friends for help.
