This just emphasizes the fact that wings are a bird’s arms and so angels essentially have six (6) legs.

Not to infodump but jsyk this isn’t how a birds wings work, it’s a super cool animation and i love it, but it’s not an accurate bone structure if you’re looking to reference it to make birds wings or realistic/based on bird angel wings. I count 3 radius and ulna for each wing (that’s the two bones in the forearm on a person). basically this is going from the spine out: shoulderblade, forearm, upper arm, forearm, forearm, hand/wrist. Which is too many forearms. Basically a birds wings are their arms like the poster above me said, but they’re in the same configuration as human arms. So it should go Shoulderblade, Humerous (lupper arm, the ong single bone that attaches to the shoulder) radius and ulna (forearm, those two that sit together, you’ll find them in bbq wings too) and the medial, metacarpal and phalanges group which is your wrist and hand joint, but in a bird is that weird little finger on a chicken wing. Things that i am interested in seeing is this horrifying bone angel thing fully feathered because i think it would look RAD and there’s no reason angels have to obey the bone structure of limbed vertibrates since they already have 6 limbs anyway.
