I’m sorry but it must be said. Daryl stans not accepting that he was in his late 30s-early 40s in s1 is the craziest cope. I’ve seen people say he doesn’t look that old (he looks his age, early 40s isn’t old and decrepit), he couldn’t possibly be older than Rick (they’re in the same age group and look it), and it wouldn’t make sense that he was an unemployed drifter at that age (makes total sense with his upbringing and fits with how palpably embarrassed he was about his pre-zpoc life). Daryl was probably around 38-42 in s1 and that’s fine!!

#no idea how this came about but norman was literally 40/41 at the time of filming in s1 #so saying he looks 30 makes zero sense lmao #i actually kinda love how he grew and found his family in his forties to early fifties #its very sweet
