“Did you know your lips and birthmark are the same shade of pink?”

Buck blinks, but it doesn’t change the reality of what he’s looking at—which is Eddie, tipsy-drunk from the bottomless mimosas, chin propped in his hand as he stares at Buck.

“Um, can’t say I’ve really noticed,” Buck says, cheeks burning—Hen is staring at the two of them with a raised brow but says nothing, the only one at the table who appears to have heard.

“It’s pretty,” Eddie continues, and before Buck can stop him, he reaches out and brushes Buck’s bottom lip with his thumb, then his birthmark, gentle and reverent and life-altering.

he's just helping out his best friend and partner eddie. the man has a silver star. least he could do is let the guy dry hump him whenever he wants. he's just being a good friend/husband/buck.
