While MIS building has something close to a gothic cyberpunk architecture, Ombra’s office interior design leans more towards the gothic side.
I imagine it like this: considerably large, a high ceiling, large stone columns, dark stone walls that are both polished and jagged in different spots of the room, a wide window overlooking the ocean and dim lights which can be changed to be warm or cold. At the far end of the office her panic room is located (shoutout to my friend @lilium-hyde for the panic room idea).
Inside the panic room sits an archive.
A top secret archive of psychological profiles Ombra wrote herself of nearly Every. Single. Person around her.
The only person that knows about that archive is her. I don’t think she’ll ever tell Quan Chi about it either. Or even if she does, it has to be during a catastrophic situation.
Everyone thinks that Ombra relies on MIS archive. Nope. She relies on her own brilliant mind.
There’s something spectacular about her secret archive, and it’s that those profiles are not written like official records. They’re written through poetry. In fact, they’re ciphered through poetry.
Yes, Ombra can write poems. I guess I have mentioned this before. This is one of her contradictions I love so much. Everyone else, upon meeting her, immediately see the stoic woman with probably a dry mind. She may appear stoic, practical, scary, almost psychopathic, but she’s anything but “dry”. But only a few people get to learn that.

BUT MEET MY NEW GIRL 🥹, #loveher already, I don’t have much for her yet, but this is what I do have:
She is from Earthrealm, since the majority of my ocs are form Outworld, so I decided to break that with making a character who isn’t
She is a healer!! Though she is also capable of fighting with her style of Tai-Chi, which also matches with how her healing abilities come from energy.
THIS SPECIFICALLY IS HER MKX DESIGN, I may think about doing a mk11 and mk1 version later on for her..
She also comes from a clan that has the most respected healers!! Her linage needs to be worked on still, so maybe later on I’ll post about that, but she is an upcoming grandmaster later on

Emich was born a second son to a noble family of Count and Countess Distelfort. His brother Hans was meant to inherit the title, the lands and the family name, while Emich was supposed to only be an honorary Viscount without real nobility privileges, and be exiled from his brother’s lands to “keep the peace”. He was raised accordingly, rarely shown to people, shunned from the family whose love he desperately wanted. His education was mostly religious and martial, as he was expected to become a paladin. He completed all of the preparations for that, before ultimately deciding to leave the temple in favor of becoming a travelling knight.
For a few years, Emich travelled the world, helping the people in need, and receiving payment for it here and there. He wasn’t poor, but wasn’t wealthy either— just enough to afford keeping a horse and maintaining his arms and armor (a light armor at the time). His travels had no purpose other than battling the “forces of evil” as he understood them: undead, monsters and bandits. He would, however, not help against nobles’ tyranny, or systemic injustices, as he considered any authority to be in its right to violence or oppression. He disapproved, of course, but he thought there was nothing to be done.
That is, until he came to the land of Karatovia, a princedom oppressed by its Lords, the Karatov bloodline. The horrors its people faced were abhorrent to him, but once again, he did not feel it in himself to help them with anything but the monsters that plagued the land. Everything changed when he met another knight, Mstislav Dyba, leading a rebellion. While Emich liked him, and his methods, even, he did not dare to join the cause. When Mstislav won and became the new lord of Karatovia, however, Emich pledged his fealty to him, enamoured by the new Prince’s revolutionary charisma.
Dyba accepted him as his knight, though did not have him join the militia. Instead, Emich became the Knight of Thorns, Dyba’s personal sword (or morningstar) and shield. His task was still mostly to battle the monsters that the militia couldn’t handle on their own, and to serve as a symbol of justice and protection that Dyba’s rule— the Bloodlight, named so for the blood shed and the hope brought by it— provided to the folk.
In time, the Bloodlight became as feared as he was loved, and Emich became as devoted to his lord as he was blind to his transgressions.
I find it deeply concerning that a lot of BBC’s live coverage of the Iran situation seems to be directly mimicking or even actually be drawn from the Al Jazeera coverage of the conflict. (Al Jazeera is a state-run propaganda from the Qatar dictatorship.) Also a number of times it quotes Iranian state-run propaganda as though it is a reliable source. Something is really, really wrong at BBC. This goes way beyond just simple bias.

The door swung open, only a silhouette of someone visible in the darkness. With a mere gesture of their hand, they lit the fires: in the fireplace, in the stove and a few candles here and there. Now, in this dim warm light, Cassian could see the owner of the hut he so recklessly sought shelter in.
It was a tall person of unclear age and gender, with long, thick gray hair and luminous red eyes, dressed in green robes and pointy shoes, nearly tall enough to scrape the ceiling. On top of their head and shoulders sat a unicorn's skin, roughly butchered into a semblance of a fur coat. The creature terrified Cassian enough as they were, but then they spoke, almost sing-song, if not for the gruffness of their— low and yet still impossible to pinpoint the gender of— voice.
"I smell a human soul," they hummed. "A guest, then… Come out, now, don't you fear. I'm always cordial with guests."
