Can I just say I think the partisan messaging on the government websites blaming the democrats for the government shutdown and acting like the republicans are fighting for the people is a really nasty dirty trick.
And the withholding of emergency funds that could be used for SNAP even more so.
I'm not saying the democrats are blameless. But I think funding for the ACA is a reasonable sticking point on government budgeting. And it's uh, really not a good look for the republicans to be willing to starve families and withhold funding from the ACA to make a point or whatever. Especially while their idiot in chief builds this stupid expensive ballroom.

Ah yes. The president using his OWN money is entirely the same as Democrats shutting down the fucking government because we don't want to give illegals 1.5 TRILLION dollars of tax payer money to get free healthcare and instead focus on actual fucking citizens.
