When I nodded, he smiled in relief and gently stroked my head.
Ah⊠but still.
I might be fine, but you are not.
The neurotoxin consuming his body continued to worsen with every passing moment.
Because of me, more and more painful scars spread across his beautiful face.
I quietly reached up and touched his cheek.
He stopped the hand that had been patting my head and tilted his head slightly in confusion.
Yet his expression remained just as gentle as ever.
Qiluo: âYou look worried. Whatâs wrong?â
You: âQiluoâŠâ
Qiluo: ââŠDonât make that face. I told you before, didnât I?
You promised not to worry about me.â
You: âButâŠâ
Qiluo: âI was prepared for this. And so were you, right?
You have to stay strong.
Itâs okay. Iâll keep standing until the very end, and I wonât die until Iâve seen you off.â
You: ââŠâŠâ
Those words made my wavering resolve tremble even more.
I had made it this far because of him.
And yet, more than gratitude, I was overwhelmed by guilt for hurting him like this.
As if he could sense everything I was feeling, Qiluo lovingly brushed his fingers against my cheek.
Qiluo: âIâm fine. Seeing you make that face hurts me.
Youâre going back to Earth, arenât you?
So say those words again.
Those words alone are enough to keep us moving forward.â
You: ââŠâŠâ
Enduring the ache tightening in my chest, I forced out the words that bound both him and me together.
You: âFight for me.
And⊠I want you to die for meâŠâ
As I spoke through trembling tears, he smiled softly and nodded.
Qiluo: âOf course.
Come on, just a little longer now.
âŠLetâs go.â
Even as I struggled with all my strength to break free, his grip didnât loosenâit only tightened further.
His fingers dug deep into my skin, sending a sharp pain through me.
You: âIt hurtsâŠ!â
HAL: âIf you try to run away⊠Iâll make you pay for this laterâŠ!â
âAt that very moment.
Strong arms wrapped around me from behind.
At the same time, HALâs hand, which had been gripping my arm, was sliced off by a white blade.
HAL: ââŠ!â
Thrown off balance, HALâs body slammed against the iron fence with a dull thud.
Blood splattered across the garden leaves, staining them crimson, and instinctively, I wanted to look away.
Holding his severed left arm, HAL glared at us resentfully.
Qiluo: âSorry⊠Iâm late.â
I looked up at him as he gently embraced me.
When our eyes met, Qiluo smiled quietly and wiped the blood from the tip of his sword.
âââQiluoâŠ!?â
âWhat are you doing hereâŠ!?â
HAL: ââŠDo you even realize what youâve doneâŠ!? This is our territory!â
HAL furrowed his brow and glared at Qiluo, confusion and frustration written across his face.
Qiluo: ââŠYes, I know.
Iâm sending her back to Earth.
And for that, Iâm prepared to fight all of you.â
Both HAL and I gasped involuntarily.
You: âFightâŠ!?â
Qiluo: ââŠThatâs right. To send you home, Iâll have to kill every one of them who stands in my way.â
You: âThatâsâŠ!â
When I turned toward HAL, our eyes met.
Though he was breathing heavily with anger and agitation, his gaze remained fixed on meâas if he longed for me.
HAL: ââŠ***, donât listen to that guyâŠ!
Everything heâs saying is just ridiculous bluffing!
âŠYouâre not going back to Earth anyway.
If this keeps up, youâll get dragged into trouble⊠and you could even get hurt!!â
Qiluo: ââŠIâm serious.
I truly intend to fight all of you and risk my life to send her back to Earth.
This sword is proof of that.â
As he spoke, Qiluo thrust his sword into the ground.
Even after drinking blood, the blade continued to glow with an eerie white light.
Its intricate structure resembled that of a Japanese katana.
The moment HAL saw the sword, his expression twisted as though he had realized something.
HAL: ââŠDamn it⊠I was wondering why my wounds wouldnât healâŠ
So thatâs it⊠your fangsâŠ!
YouâŠaccursed⊠venomous spiderâŠ!!!â
As HAL spat the words out in disgust, Qiluo gently shielded me behind him and smiled softly.
Qiluo: âStay behind me. Itâs dangerous.
âŠItâs okay. No matter what happens, Iâll protect you.â
You: ââŠOkay. But⊠please be carefulâŠâ
Qiluo: ââŠDonât worry.â
At that moment, Qiluoâs eyes flashed a poisonous crimson for an instant.
Qiluo: ââŠFirst, HAL. Iâll start with you.
I do feel sorry for attacking you by surprise.
âŠBut while your brother is away, Iâm going to kill you first.â
After saying that, Qiluo quietly raised his sword once more.

Deep in the forest where I had fled, I came across a young man dressed in red.
I instinctively turned to run away, but just as I was about to flee, he called out to me.
qiluo: âWait! Donât be afraid. I wonât hurt you.â
I stopped and turned to face him.
He didnât try to approach me; instead, he smiled awkwardly.
âŠCan I really trust him? Heâs a spider, just like the others.
Thereâs no guarantee he wonât do something terrible, just like those twinsâŠ
I canât⊠trust himâŠ
qiluo: âDid something bad happenâŠ? You look like youâre running away from something.
If youâre comfortable, would you tell me what happened?â
You: ââŠUm⊠butâŠâ
qiluo: âHaha⊠I know, but you must be scared, right?
You donât have to force yourself to come closer. âŠActually, letâs talk from this distance.
I swear I wonât cross this line.â
Saying that with a smile, he drew a line on the ground with his toe,
then sat down at the far end of it.
I could only stand frozen in place, watching him.
qiluo: "I'm qiluo. I'm anâŠâŠ alien.
This forest is my territory. That's why no one else can come in."
The voice of the young man who called himself qiluo was gentle.
I didn't feel any sense of intimidation from him.
qiluo: ââŠHave you gotten used to life here?â
I shook my head weakly.
âŠThere's no way I could get used to itâŠ
I realized firsthand just how little value I held on this planet.
To them, I was no different from a tiny insect.
Those terrifying twins who taught me that must still be searching for me right now.
qiluo: ââŠI suppose so. You were brought to this planet against your will.
âŠI feel sorry for you. Iâm sure you want to return to your home planet as soon as possible.â
He said that and looked up at the sky.
I donât know if his words were sincere, or if they were just meant to deceive me.
A gentle breeze was ruffling his red hair.
qiluo: âHey, whatâs Earth like to you?â
You: ââŠHuh?â
He looked at me and smiled, his eyes crinkling.
âŠI couldnât answer such an abstract question on the spot.
qiluo: ââŠThis planet is like a small miniature garden with five kings.
The greatest of those kings is Yakumo. Yes, that white spider who took you away.
Basically, no one except him and the purple spider can go to Earth.
Thatâs why⊠I have a kind of longing for Earth.â
Saying that, he gently stroked the ground covered in grass.
He traced the plants, wet with morning dew, gently with his fingers.
qiluo: âItâs just like Earth, isnât it?â
You: âYeahâŠâ
qiluo: âBut actually, this is all an illusion.
The luxurious mansion, this entire forestâ
theyâre all just âfacadesâ created from our ideal image of Earth.
This beautiful greenery, the birdsong⊠itâs all just a product of my imagination.
And⊠to protect you, to make you feel safe, Iâve made this part of the planet look very much like Earth.
In reality, itâs a rough, rocky planet filled with gases that are harmful to you⊠like a fortress⊠a planet with absolutely no charm.â
Somehow, his eyes seemed to be gazing into the distance.
Unlike the other spiders, I thought he was the kind of person who described his own planet with a touch of self-deprecation.
qiluo: âThatâs why I envy you, coming from Earth.
âŠAh, given your current situation, the word âenvyâ isnât really appropriate, is it?
âŠIâm sorry if Iâve hurt you.â
Saying that, he lowered his eyebrows and smiled awkwardly.
The atmosphere he gave off was calm and sincere,
and for some reason, his words seemed to contain a sense of consideration for meâŠ
Suddenly, I felt a sense of reassurance.
I quietly approached him and sat down beside him.
You: âUm⊠Iâm sorry. Itâs just⊠you guys are scary.â
qiluo: âItâs okay. I understand how you feel. Being brought to a place like this must have been scary⊠Iâll apologize on their behalf.
Iâm really sorryâŠâ
He said that and bowed his head.
Maybe⊠he isnât a bad spider after allâŠ
Maybe I can ask him all sorts of things.
ãŒWhy was I brought here?
ãŒAnd how can I get back home?
You: âUm⊠why⊠was I brought hereâŠ? Was I just unlucky?â
Qiluo: ââŠIt wasnât luck. We targeted you.â
You: ââŠHuh!?â
They targeted me and kidnapped me
As the situation became even more complicated and my mind struggled to process it,
he continued.
Qiluo: âThatâs right. He⊠no, we⊠know you well.
Youâve been here before. You might not remember, butâŠâ
You: ââŠ!?â
Iâve been here beforeâŠ? Here?
I have⊠absolutely no memory of that.
I feel like Iâm about to panic even more.
You: âNo! That canât be true!â
qiluo: â⊠Still, I remember you.
You were still small, so you might not remember.â
You: âThatâs⊠impossible. I donât have any memory of thatâŠ
So⊠if what youâre saying is true, how was I able to get back earth!?â
qiluo: ââŠ.â
His words didnât seem like he was lying.
Rather, he stared intently at my expression, as if he were in pain.
âŠAnd then, with a serious expression, he asked me.
qiluo: âDo you want to go back to EarthâŠ?â
You: ââŠI want to go back⊠Of course I want to go back!!
I donât know whatâs going on anymore⊠Iâm scared⊠Iâm anxious every single dayâŠ!!
âŠIâm scared⊠that I might never be able to go back⊠I⊠I want to go back to EarthâŠ!â
Iâm so confused, and my eyes start to well up.
Faced with the fact that I was brought here specifically to be targeted, and the despair of not knowing what to do, I bite my lip hard.
âŠAt that moment, his hand gently stroked my head.
The touch was so gentle, as if he were comforting meâŠ
I couldnât help but look up.
He was looking down at me with a gentle, enveloping smile.
qiluo: ââŠItâs okay. Iâll send you home.â
He slowly removed his hand from me and smiled.
You: ââŠHuhâŠâ
qiluo: âI was planning to get you off this planet eventually anyway.
So leave it to me.â
You: âWhy⊠HowâŠ?â
qiluo: âItâs us who are holding you captive. So weâre the only ones who can set you free.
Those guys have no intention of letting you go, do they?
But⊠I have absolutely no intention of binding you.
âŠIn fact, I canât bear to see you suffer.
So Iâll help you escape. Iâll protect you with all my strength.â
A refreshing breeze caressed our cheeks.
You: âWhyâŠ?
They said theyâd ânever let you escapeââŠ
If what youâre saying is true, isnât it because Iâm⊠necessary to you guys?â
qiluo: âThatâs right⊠We need you.
But even so, I donât want to take your freedom away from you.
âŠâŠBecause I love you. I always have.â
You: ââŠ!!â
At his sudden confession, I could feel my face flushing with a mix of shock and excitement.
His words were direct and sincere.
As he spoke, he too smiled, his cheeks turning slightly red.
qiluo: âYou might not remember, but⊠youâve given me so much.
Thatâs exactly why I want to protect you with all my strength.â
You: âBut I donât remember youâŠâ
qiluo: ââŠI remember you, so thatâs enough.â
Saying that, he relaxed his expression with a happy look.
No matter how I looked at it, he didnât seem like he was trying to deceive me.
If itâs him⊠maybe I can trust himâŠ
Drawn in by his expression, I let a smile slip onto my lips too.
You: ââŠThank you. Um⊠I⊠should I⊠do something⊠to thank youâŠ?â
qiluo: âHuh?â
At my words, he looked completely bewildered.
You: âUm⊠I was just wondering if I should do something for you⊠to get you to let me go homeâŠ
Since Iâm a lower-class being here⊠Well⊠thatâs what the twins saidâŠâ
He shook his head, looking surprised.
qiluo: âNo need! I donât want anything from you. You just need to use me.â
You: âButâŠâ
qiluo: âI told you, didnât I? I like you.
So thereâs no way Iâd ask for anything in return.
You just need to worry about yourself.â
He said this with a serious expression, yet in a soft tone meant to reassure me.
Ah, I can trust this person.
I feel like I can believe his words.
It felt like I saw a faint light in the darkness before my eyes.
You: âThank you, QiluoâŠâ
Qiluo: ââŠ!â
How kind he is.
When I thanked him, he opened his eyes wide,
and his face turned bright red as he said,
qiluo: ââŠI have to apologize for one thing. I said I wouldnât get close to you just now,
but I ended up touching you.
I crossed the line⊠If you didnât like it, Iâm sorry.â
âŠHe really is a serious person through and through.
I couldnât help but burst out laughing.
It had been a long time since Iâd laughed so genuinely from the bottom of my heart.

I sit on the veranda and gaze blankly up at the sky.
White clouds float leisurely across the blue sky that fills my entire field of visionâŠ
Looking at it like this, this world seemed almost exactly like Earth.
âA refreshing breeze brushes against my cheek,
an afternoon so pleasant I almost drift off to sleep.
Suddenly, his words crossed my mind.
??? âRemember. Donât you have a place to go back to?â
âŠâŠA place to go back toâŠâŠ?
A place to go back toâŠâŠwhere?
Itome: âPrincess⪠What are you thinking about~?â
As I was lost in thought, I was embraced by a pair of strong arms reaching out from behind me.
Even though Iâve gotten used to it, every time Iâm enveloped by his scent, I feel like Iâm going to melt away in blissâŠ
Itome: ââŠAre you getting sleepy?â
You: âYeah⊠a littleâŠâ
Itome gently placed a finger on my chin, tilting my face toward him, and a tender kiss landed on my lips.
Itome: âWe really got carried away yesterday, didnât weâŠ? ð Are you tired? Should I give you a massage or something~?â
Itome smiled gently and kissed me again, making a soft sound.
You: âMmm⊠No, thatâs not it. I was just rememberingâŠâ
As we continued to kiss, my thoughts grew increasingly hazy, and I became completely absorbed in his kisses.
I found myself craving him more and more, and before I knew it, I was clinging to him and running my tongue over his lips.
⊠When did I start drowning in him like this?
I want more. I want more.
I want himâŠ
By the time he was gently nibbling on my tongue and our kiss turned into a fierce, almost biting one, my thoughts had completely stopped.
Seeing my expressionâŠ
Itome narrowed her eyes seductively and smiled faintly.
Itome: âIf you donât know, doesnât that mean it wasnât a big deal?â
You: âMaybe youâre rightâŠâ
Itome: âYou can forget about it. Thereâs no point in worrying over it.
So, how about we play together to take your mind off things? âªâ
I nodded at his words, and he picked me up right then and there, heading straight for the alcove.
Setting me down, he smiled with an innocent, affectionate grin,
and with a âTa-da! âªâ he opened the sliding door.
You: âWow!!!â
The floor was covered with a vast array of toys.
Nostalgic game consoles, a pretend-play set, party supplies.
Those toys were
all things Iâd played with since I was little.
At his unexpected surprise,
I felt a wave of nostalgia wash over me, and a smile naturally spread across my face.
Itome: "I brought some things from Earth that I thought youâd likeâª
How about it? You wonât get bored, right?"
You: âYeahâŠ! These are all things I used to loveâŠ! Itome, thank youâŠ!â
When I looked closer, I saw a game console with a familiar sticker on it.
This⊠is the one I traded with a friend to get.
Itâs a slow-life simulation game where you build your own island and interact with animals.
I loved this game so much that my friend and I used to trade stickers of our favorite animals.
âŠCome to think of it, I donât think Iâve played it much lately.
Itome: âWant to play this?â
You: ââŠNah. Maybe I'll try something else.â
When I shook my head, he picked up a deck of cards and grinned.
Itome: "Well then, let's go with the classic Old Maidâª
Just playing for fun feels a bit boring⊠so how about we make it a bet?
If I win, I'll take you all to myself ð"
You: âHehe, Iâll take you up on that! Iâm actually pretty good at this!â
Itome: âHmm? Even if my opponent is a cute girl like you, Iâm not going to go easy on you, you know?â
He winked and shuffled the cards with practiced ease.
Then, as we dealt out our hands, he asked me.
Itome: âPrincess. If you win, what do you want? What do you wish forâŠ?â
What I⊠want to do
You: âIâŠâ
ãŒãŒãŒãŒãŒãŒ
You: âHmmâŠâ
Itome: âCome on, itâs your turn⪠Or are you giving up?â
As the game neared its end, I was completely out of options.
In this match where I was bound to lose no matter what I did, Itome peered at my face with a smirk.
You: ââŠOh, come on!! Itome, you cheated, didnât you~~!!â
Itome: âNot at all~. It just means Iâm genuinely âgoodâ at everything. Hahaâª
Oh well, princess, youâre such a letdown. What happened to all that bravado from earlier? Hmm?â
You: âUgh! Youâre so mean!! Iâm going to do this to all of them!!â
In a last-ditch effort, I scatter my discarded cards like a child.
Itome: âAhaha!! Thatâs greatð Youâre a princess who just wonât admit defeat, arenât you?â
The cards dance through the air, and the entire game up to this point is thrown into chaos⊠For some reason, I felt a sense of relief, and I couldnât help but burst out laughing.
I felt a strange sense of liberation, as if I were throwing everything away.
I casually catch one of the cards falling right in front of me.
âŠA card with the Joker on it.
As Iâm distracted by it,
he suddenly leans in and covers me.
Itome: âYou lo-oseðâ
You: âAhaha! I guess I just canât beat Itome after allâŠ!â
Both of us laughed.
Ah, he always makes me laughâŠ
He can be a bit mean sometimesâŠ
There are times when I donât know what heâs thinking, and I still donât know him very wellâŠ
Even so, I love him.
I couldnât⊠live without himâŠ
âWell then, just as promised, Iâm going to eat every last bit of you, princess ðâ
No sooner had he said that than he brought his mouth close to my clothes, biting down on the fabric as he slowly pulled them up.
Slowly, as if to tease meâŠ
It tickles, and his actions seem so erotic and forbidden that
I worry he might hear my heart pounding.
Every time his fangs touch my skin, my body shivers with a tingling ache.
Dinner time arrived, and I was seated across from Haru at the large dining table.
He gazed straight at me with a dreamy expression.
HAL: ââŠâŠ***.â
Every time he called my name, a gentle sense of reassurance spread through my chest.
He wasnât the scary guy Iâd met back then.
The leash that had once bound me to him was gone.
Iâm no longer treated like a pet.
âŠâŠIt means he sees me as his âgirlfriendâ now.
Thatâs whyââŠthe HAL I know now would surely forgive me.
Thatâs what I found myself thinking.
You: âHAL, I⊠I really want to go back to Earth.â
At those words, HAL stopped his hand mid-reach for his wine glass.
He furrowed his brow slightly and glanced at me.
HAL: âGo back? âŠWhatâs wrong, ***? What are you unhappy about? Tell me. Iâll take care of everything.â
You: âItâs not that Iâm unhappy⊠I just want to go home.â
HAL: âNo way.â
He cut me off coldly, and I fell silent.
HAL: âIâve told you this so many times. You canât run away; you have no choice but to stay here quietly.
We decided this together. So just give up and enjoy the moment.
Come on, letâs drop this. âŠLetâs get back to dinner. I had them prepare the dish you said you liked today, didnât I?â
You: âHAL, butâŠâ
HAL: âShut up!!! Donât make me angry⊠Iâm begging you!â
BANGâ!
He slams his fist on the table and screams, clutching his temples.
HAL: âI love youâŠ! And yet you want to break up with me!?
If thatâs the case, thereâs no way Iâm going to let you!
Were your wordsââI love youâ and âI like youââjust lies!?â
You: âNo! They werenât liesâŠ!â
HAL: âThen whyâŠ! Are you testing meâŠ!?â
His face twisted in pain, yet he still looked straight at meâand my heart ached sharply.
âLHA: âHALâs brain resources are almost entirely consumed by his emotions, making it difficult for him to control himself.â
Suddenly, LHAâs words flashed through my mind.
Right now, he must be desperately holding back his anger.
For my sake⊠and because of me.
Even so⊠I want to go home.
I wonder why. Even though I love him⊠I felt something like a missionâor a sense of urgencyâtelling me I had to go back.
âŠEver since I met that red-haired young manâŠ
You: âIâm sorry⊠HALâŠâ
HAL: ââŠâŠ!!â
I sensed HAL gasp.
I must have hurt him.
I was too afraid to look at his expression, so I could only keep my head down and apologize.
The next momentâ
You: â!!â
Suddenly, HAL leaped onto the table.
He, who had always valued manners so highly and hated getting dirty, was there with his shoes on.
Crushing plates and kicking glasses aside, he walked toward me without a care.
And when he reached me, he forcefully pulled me close.
HAL: ââŠI wonât let you go.â
His eyes, different colors on each side, looked darker and cloudier than usual.
HAL: âIâve finally got you. Stay by my side. âŠYouâre leaving me? Talking back to me like that⊠You need a lesson.â
You: ââŠ!â
His hand raised.
Heâs going to hit meâŠ! Thinking that, I instinctively flinched.
âŠBut the pain never came.
HAL: ââŠYou really are a sly woman.â
A low, hoarse voice.
HAL: âAre you saying that knowing full well I canât hit you? âŠHey, thatâs it, isnât it?â
Slowly, he brought his face closer.
HAL: ââŠThatâs how much you mean to me, how much I love you⊠Why canât you understand that?â
He lowers his eyebrows sadly and, with the hand heâd raised, slowly and gently strokes my cheek.
HAL: âI trust you, so I didnât think I needed a leash.
I thought you felt the same way I do.
But⊠I guess I was wrong.â
As his finger slowly slid from my cheek down to the nape of my neck, a sudden, sharp jolt of electricity shot through me.
Everything went white before my eyes, and HAL caught me as I fell forward.
HAL: âI was wrong. Iâll keep you even more tightly enclosed so you wonât go anywhere, okay? Until then, just sleep for a little while.â
Feeling those words as if from a distance, I let go of consciousness⊠ãŒãŒãŒ
âââ
âŠâŠWhen I woke up next, I found myself in a dark, cramped, and cold place.
On a hard floor.
Completely naked, with handcuffs and shackles, and heavy chains wrapped around my body, I couldnât move properly.
You: âAnyoneâŠ! Is anyone there!?â
My voice echoed hollowly, but there was no reply.
Overwhelmed by the sudden loneliness and sense of confinement, I instinctively curled up on the spot.
The only thing that came to mind was his faceâŠ
ââHAL, where are youâŠ?!
HAL: ââŠDid you wake up?â
You: ââŠ!â
Hearing that gentle voice, I instinctively tried to run toward him.
But a solid barrier blocked my path.
By the light of the lantern he held, I finally understood.
ââI was locked inside a cell surrounded by iron bars.
You: âLet me out of hereâŠ!â
HAL: âIâd like to let you out, too. âŠBut this is a punishment.
As long as you keep saying âI want to go home,â I have no intention of letting you out.â
With a faint smile, HAL reached his hand through the bars and gently stroked my head.
HAL: âItâs okay. Donât be afraid. Iâll come visit you like this every now and then.
Meals, bathroom breaks⊠Iâll take care of everything for you, okay?
Youâre my cute little pet cat, after all. Itâs only natural, isnât it?â
You: ââŠâ
âŠI canât find the words.
Am I really going to have to⊠keep living like this⊠in this place without light
HAL: âAre you scared? Seeing that frightened look on your face makes me want to protect you even more. âŠHey, what do you think you should do?â
What should I do
You: ââŠDo you want me to say I wonât go back to Earth, that Iâll stay by your side, HALâŠ?â
HAL: âHaha⊠Thatâs right. Youâre such a good girl.
Donât try to go back to Earth. Stay by my side.
If you can just keep those two things in mind⊠Iâll give you anything.â
Slowly, he whispers sweetly.
HAL: âIf youâll say that, Iâll do anything for you.
Iâll get you out of this place right away, wash your body with a warm shower⊠youâll sleep with me at night, and Iâll wake you up in the morning.
And Iâll comb your hair for you.
Iâll get you as many dresses as you want, ones that suit you.
More than ever before⊠Iâll pamper you sweetly and lavishly.â
Saying that with a smile, HAL lifts my chin.
And, through the iron bars, he kissed me.
HAL: ââŠNow, choose. Iâll respect your decision.
Though I suppose thereâs really only one answer youâll give.
Besides⊠you canât escape me.
Not on your own⊠absolutely not.â
The night I clearly stated I wanted to return to Earth,
I was summoned to LHA's room.
He sat me on the bed and straddled me.
Before I could react to his sudden action, I noticed the dull gleam of a knife in his hand.
You: âHuhâŠ!â
LHA looked down at me with an absolutely unreadable smile and brought that knife close to my throat.
You: ââŠ!!â
LHA: "Why leave? We were so close.
You're going to abandon me?"
Each time the flat edge of the knife lightly tapped my cheek, terror froze my body.
LHA must be furious⊠That's why he's going to kill meâŠ
Yes, I understood in an instant.
LHA: âWell, whatever.â
The blade I braced for to stab me swiftly withdrew from my neck.
You: ââŠLHA, are you angryâŠ? Are you going to kill meâŠ? Hurt me?â
When I asked, trembling, he tilted his head, looking puzzled.
LHA: "I'm not angry at all. I just thought I needed to do something if you wanted to go back.
Besides, I'm your lover. There's no way I'd kill you."
After saying that, LHA gently pressed his lips to yours and whispered.
LHA: ââŠSo I thought of my own way. A way to make sure you absolutely can't leave here.â
âI won't kill you.â Though you felt a momentary relief at those words and the tender kiss,
LHA brought the knife he held close to his own throat.
You: âWh-what are you doing!? Thatâs dangerousâŠ!â
A sudden, unpleasant premonition made me frantically grab his knife-wielding hand.
LHA: "You always worry about me like this. I've told you countless times. We aren't human. Unless something extraordinary happens, we can't die.
There's no way I'd die over some human toy like this.
The wound will just regenerate and heal back to normal."
You: âBut I hate seeing LHA hurt.â
LHA: âWounds? I feel no pain. Or is it because it looks unpleasant?â
You: ââŠNo, that's not it. Even so, that act is self-harm to humans. âŠSo please stop. I'll make you sweets or anything. Please.â
LHA: ââŠThen don't leave me.â
LHA's expressionless eyes wavered for just an instant.
LHA: âIf âhurtâ applies to the heart too, losing you would hurt me more. Thinking that⊠makes my chest ache.
Heal me."
You: ââŠâ
LHA's earnest words pierced deep into my chest too.
He truly cherishes meâŠ
Thinking that, guilt and regret choked my throat.
âŠEven so, I wanted to return to the world I came from.
As I couldn't bring myself to nod at LHA's words, he let out a small sigh,
then looked down at me again with that cold, indifferent gaze.
LHA: "âŠha, yeah. Fine.
Trying to appeal to your emotions? I guess I'm pretty stupid too.
âŠAlright, let's get down to business."
LHA released gently my hand, then swiftly thrust a knife into his own tongue.
You: âU-âŠ!?â
LHA: "As I said before. Our bodies possess self-repair mechanisms at the nano level.
Even if organs are damaged, they regenerate based on structural information.
We evolved this way to adapt to the planet.
Based on that premise, my hypothesis isâŠ
If we completely replaced your organs with mine⊠or succeeded in fusing them⊠couldn't you become a spider too?"
You: ââŠ!!!â
LHA: "You need our kiss to stay on this planet, right?
That means our bodily fluids are mixing inside you, showing signs of adaptation. So I don't think my hypothesis is entirely wrong."
You: âWait, LHA, whatââ
I couldn't understand half of what he said,
but spitting out blood-tinged foam, LHA pressed me down with an almost ecstatic expression and forced his crimson lips onto mine.
His tongue violated my mouth, as if trying to pour his own blood inside.
LHA: "Taste my blood? âŠHow is it? Hey, what's it like? Feels good? I feel incredible right nowâŠ!!
Like we're becoming one. âŠAh, I want to mix with you more."
The metallic stench made me nauseous.
Bitter and painful⊠Yet LHA showed no sign of stopping, praying my resisting mouth open with his fingers.
LHA: âAh⊠See? Drink more, more? ***, my wounds heal instantly, so hurry.â
You: âGuh⊠GuhâŠ!!â
The instant I tried to close my mouth, his thumb pushed deeper into my throat, and the terror of drowning in his blood raced through my entire body.
LHA: "We should have done this from the start. Give up being human. Become my true mate.
Spend your life on this planet. With me.
âŠWell, feeble humans are kinda cute, I suppose? Fine. If you absolutely must go back."
He narrowed his eyes, stroked my cheek, then kissed me again with his red tongue. Then he couldn't hold back and laughed
LHA: "âŠHey, how exactly did you plan to get back?
Did you think you could just go back without any basis?
Did you think we or Lord Yakumo would allow it? Or⊠did someone give you some unnecessary advice?
Tell me, for reference."
You: ââŠâ
LHA: "You're foolish and fragile and incredibly cuteâŠ
If the compatibility surgery failed and only you died, I'd be sad. That's why I want to treat you as gently as possible.
If you wishâŠ
If you want to remain humanâŠ
Say it.â
He leaned close and whispered.
LHA: ââBecause I love you, I wonât go back.â
Say it!ahahaâŠahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!â
The threads wrapped around my body dug into my skin with a grinding pressure under my own weight,
and the pain and suffocation were so intense that I no longer even had the will to resist.
Yakumo: ââŠâŠâŠâ
The man who called himself Yakumo merely gazed at me,
as if savoring some trivial amusement, a look of pleasure lingering on his faceâŠ
and in that moment, I understoodâŠhe truly intended to let me die.
âWhat should I do?
If I wanted to go on living, I would have to obey himâŠ
Forced to face that reality, I feltâ
ãI want to live.ã
That was what I felt.
I had no way of knowing whether obeying him would truly be safe.
After all, the one putting me through this agony was none other than him.
Being told to trust him was, frankly, impossible.
And yet, instinctively, I knew I didnât want to end like this.
You: ââŠPlease⊠help meâŠâ
I was nearly suffocating; even words were difficult.
Still, mustering what little strength I had left, I begged the man before me.
You: âIâll⊠do what you sayâŠ!â
When I cried out, Yakumo curled the corner of his lips upward and narrowed his eyes in satisfaction.
Yakumo: âThen swear it. Swear that you will never leave my side.â
You: ââŠYesâŠ!â
Tears of frustration wouldnât stop, but unless I submitted to this man,
there was no way for me to survive.
At my reply, the threads loosened.
I barely had time to feel relief before Yakumo stepped closer,
gently stroking my chin with his long, slender fingers.
Yakumo: âTo adapt to this planet, you need the same chromosomes as we do.
Your genes must be rewritten from the very foundation.â
You: ââŠWhat do you do? you meanâŠ?â
Yakumo: âOpen your mouth.â
You: âWâWhatâŠ!? Mmâ!?â
Before I could even grasp the meaning of his words, I felt the heat of his lips against mine.
ââŠWhat!?
Reflexively, I clenched my lips shut. He pulled away, frowning slightly,
those well shaped brows knitting together.
Yakumo: âI told you to open your mouth.â
You: âWâWhat did you just⊠kââ
It was only for an instant.
But there was no doubtâit was a kiss.
Confusion and embarrassment flooded me, and I felt my face burn.
Yakumo: âI will give you my genes.
Donât worry. Once our cells fuse with your nucleus, you will be able to evolve in accordance with this planet.â
âWhat does that meanâŠ!?
You: ââŠDoes that mean⊠I wonât be human anymoreâŠ?â
At my question, Yakumo lifted his thin lips into a sly grin.
Yakumo: âNot human anymore⊠heh. In a sense, that might be true.â
You: âNo! âŠI donât want that⊠mmââ
âNo, absolutely not!!
I shook my head desperately, but his hand did not allow me to escape.
His lips met mine again, and as if forcing them open, his red tongue invaded my mouth, cutting off my words.
It was roughââŠ
an act that seemed to declare domination without granting me any choice.
Yakumo: âResisting is pointless.
You are⊠to do nothing but obey me.â

When I came to my senses, I was no longer in a place I recognized.
The neon lights that had once been so dazzling,
the crowds of people rushing past one anotherâ
all of it had vanished without a trace.
Before me stretched an unfamiliar sky, and an unfamiliar darkness.
You: âWhere⊠is thisâŠ?â
Overwhelmed by what was happening, my legs gave out and I collapsed to the ground.
â Just moments ago, I was drinkingâŠ
I remember hurrying home afterward.
And then⊠umâŠ
There was a man with white hair⊠standing in front of meâŠ
Yes. I remembered now.
A strangely dressed man had spoken to me.
And before I knew it, I was here.
â Am I drunk? Is this a dream?
It has to be.
I must be exhaustedâŠ
Come to think of it, I had been constantly on edge lately.
Two years into my job, work I still hadnât gotten used to, endless overtimeâŠ
As those thoughts crossed my mind, my chest tightened painfully.
You: ââŠIt hurtsâŠâ
For some reason, it felt genuinely hard to breathe.
Maybe that was only naturalâafter all, this was a nightmare.
But the nausea and suffocating sensation only grew worse,
and the vividness of it all felt far too real for a dream.
An unfathomable fear crept over me.
â It hurts. It hurts. It hurts.
SomeoneâŠ
Please⊠help meâŠ!
Wake me upâplease, someone, help me!
The hand I instinctively reached out was seized by a cold, large hand.
â !!
Yakumo: â***â
At the sound of my name, I slowly lifted my face.
There he wasâthe man from before.
Hair as beautiful as a dollâs, and crimson eyes.
â My name⊠how do you know it?
Who⊠are you?
Those moonlike red eyes pierced straight through me,
as if he could see everything inside me.
I felt an overwhelming sense of panic.
Yakumo: âStand.â
You: ââŠah!?â
He forcibly pulled me to my feet.
Yakumo:
âSince you clearly donât understand your situation, Iâll explain.
You are no longer on Earth.
I brought you here.
âŠI am Yakumo. A being of this planet. Not human.â
â What⊠does that mean?
Another planet? Not human?
Nothing he said made sense to me.
The situation itself felt unreal, filled with words too far removed from reality,
only adding to my confusion.
You:
âW-What do you meanâŠ? Um⊠this is a dream, rightâŠ?
Earth? Another planet⊠this has to be some kind of jokeâŠâ
He looked down at me with an expression of contempt, almost pitying.
Yakumo:
âYou still donât understand?
âŠHumans truly are foolish creatures.
You can never return to who you were.â
You: ââŠ!!â
Yakumo:
âThis is not the Earth you once lived on.
And it is not a world made for creatures like you.
âŠAs proof, you look rather distressed.
The air of this planet seems to be poison to humans.â
Yakumo:
âThere are no humans on this planet.
You are the only one.
No one here shares human morals or ethics.
Someone like you could be killed at any moment.
Do you understand?
âŠHere, you are nothing more than a powerless human female.
If you wish to survive, you have no choice but to obey me.â
He didnât seem to be lying.
The unfamiliar surroundings, the difficulty breathingâ
if what he said was true, then I was in grave danger.
Yakumo: âWill you obey me?â
You:
âP-Please donât say things like thatâŠ
I-I donât want to⊠I donât want to be here!
Please send me home!â
Yakumo: âThen die.â
He said it coldly, and shoved me away.
You: ââŠuh!?â
In that instant, wire-like threads shot out from all directions,
wrapping around my body and lifting me into the air like a marionette.
The thin threads dug into my flesh, sending sharp pain through my body.
You: âW-What is thisâŠ!? It hurtsâŠ!â
I twisted desperately, trying to break free,
but the threads were far stronger than they looked.
Every movement only caused them to slice into my skin like blades,
and I realized resistance was futile.
Below me, Yakumo laughed mockingly.
Yakumo:
âHow pathetic.
Struggle like that and die in agony.
I will watch you suffer⊠until your final breath.â
Pain. Helplessness. The sheer cruelty of the situation.
My eyes burned with tears.
You:
ââŠThatâs awful⊠whyâŠ?
Why would you do this
Why meâŠ?â
Yakumo:
âYou belong to me.
You always haveâŠand you always will.
I will never send you back to Earth.â

As I hurried home, trying not to be swallowed by the crowd,
I regretted the sudden drinking party I hadnât been able to refuse.
Iâd wanted to leave early today.
âŠItâs always like this.
I smile along with everyone, pretending to enjoy it,
even though a part of me keeps whispering that it wouldnât matter if I werenât there at all.
Somewhere along the way, I must have abandoned my own will far behind me.
After a few halfhearted drinks,
a talkative coworker mentioned that tonight the strawberry moon would be clearly visible.
The sky, huhâŠ
I couldnât remember the last time Iâd even looked up.
Iâd been so busy just trying to live that I hadnât noticed anything around me.
âI want to go homeâŠâ
The words melted into the noise of the city before they reached anyoneâs ears.
But where, exactly?
Lately, I keep feeling a vague pull toward somewhere far away.
Not my parentsâ house, not my apartment.
Somewhere much fartherâŠsomewhere Iâm meant to return to.
âŠMaybe itâs just work stress.
Someone bumped my shoulder as they passed, and when I lifted my gazeâ
a red moon loomed above, staining the sky with an ominous glow.
So thatâs the strawberry moonâŠ?
I vaguely remembered that Juneâs full moon looks red because of the atmosphereâ
or something like that.
But for some reason,
tonight it looked unsettling,
like the moon during a lunar eclipse, sinking into Earthâs shadow.
YOU:ââŠWhatââ
When I lowered my eyes, an uncanny sight appeared.
A man with long, flowing hairâso beautiful he looked almost like a dollâ
was quietly staring up at the crimson moon.
He should have stood out,
and yet people passed by without so much as a glance,
as if the world were moving around him while he alone was left untouched.
I stopped in my tracks.
The moonâs red light spilled over his pale hair,
so eerily beautiful it nearly made me forget to breathe.
A strange tension coiled in my chestâ
the prickling sense that I was seeing something I shouldnât.
A chill crept down my spine,
and the bag in my hand suddenly felt unbearably heavy.
Slowly, he turned toward me.
His eyesâred like the moon.
A gaze so quiet and commanding it made me want to look away,
yet something in me refused to.
YAKUMO:ââŠItâs suffocating.â
He muttered the words as if spitting them out.
A low, smooth voice with a cold edge.
It shouldâve been swallowed by the city noise,
yet somehow, I was the only one who heard it.
YAKUMO:âThis place is suffocating. Thatâs what I said.â
His tone pressed against me,
as if urging me to agree.
I couldnât answer.
He continued.
YAKUMO:ââŠButterflies are foolish. Without guidance, they lose the way home.
Stay too long in a place youâre not meant to be,
and youâll only destroy yourself.â
His red eyes narrowed,
as if seeing straight through me.
Itome carried me in his arms to a large open-air bath.
White steam rose steadily, and the outside air gently caressed my cheeks.
He slowly set me down, and I tried to move away from him right away,
but my legs felt wobbly, and I leaned against his chest without meaning to.
Itome: âOops. Don't push yourself.â
You: âWhyâŠâ
Itome: "Sorry about that? Guess the scent was a bit too strong.
It's harmless, don't worry. Kind of like a ârelaxed stateâ for humans? Heh.
I'll take care of everything now, "
Though he undressed me with practiced ease, my body felt too weak to resist, so I simply obeyed.
You: âUmâŠâ
Itome: âHmm?â
You: âItome⊠I can smell⊠blood on you⊠WhyâŠ?â
Itome: âBecause I killed someone⊠and ate them?â
You: ââŠ!?â
For a moment, the air froze.
The instant gasped, Itome quietly laughed.
Itome: âHaha. Just kidding. Don't make that face.â
His fingertips gently stroked my hair.
The gesture felt strangely tender, and though it was supposed to be a joke, it filled I with dread.
Finally stripped down to your underwear,
left wearing nothing at all,
anxiety suddenly washed over you.
Itome: âNow then. May I have your hand, my princess?â
Drawn by his large hands, you lowered yourself into the water from your toes.
Warm⊠It really is a hot springâŠ
As you slowly submerged your whole body, Itome pulled you close and hugged you tightly.
Itome: "Hoo. Hot springs feel nice, don't they? Princessâ¡"
You: ââŠâ
Itome: "I love hot springs.
Lately, I've really hated how my body feels dirty.
That's why I wanted my own hot spring, so I made one.
It cleans me and makes me feel refreshed.
Humans are amazing, aren't they?
âŠDo you like it too? What do you do during bath time?"
Every time his hand slowly slid over my skin,
my body would flinch and tense up.
Itome: "Your body⊠it's soft and smooth, just my type.
You're different from other humans. It's⊠incredibly arousing.
This is the first time. I've never felt this way about a human before.
Mm⊠you smell goodâŠ"
You: âWhoaâŠ!â
Suddenly, his lips land on the nape of your neck.
The sound of his lips against your skin echoes unusually loud in your ear, making you gasp involuntarily.
Itome: âFeeling a little tense, are you?â
You: âB-butâŠâ
Itome: âBut what?â
You: âDoing this with youâŠâ
He peeks up at you and grins.
Itome: âDon't you like it when I do naughty things to you?â
You: ââŠâ
Itome: "Then, think of me as your boyfriend.
I'm gentle, you know? I can satisfy you way more than any human guy ever could."
Before I could answer, Itome pressed on, as if refusing me permission.
Itome: âNo?â
You: ââŠâ
Itome: "Haha⊠cute. I know you can't refuse.
Princess, I like you.
Want to do what lovers do?"
Itome said, dropping a kiss on my cheek.
Itome: âTurn towards me. I want to taste your lipsâŠâ
You: ââŠMmâ
Obeying his words, I turned to face him, and he immediately took my lips.
Tears welled up at the fierce, almost biting kiss.
A kiss so intense it felt like I was being devouredâŠ
Itome: "Delicious.
More, more⊠Let me feel your taste.
Haa⊠I'll hold back a little now. I want to savor you slowly, and then finally take youâŠ"
I went looking for ITOME and finally reached the annex.
The butler boy told me that the annex practically belonged to Itome,
and that he's usually here.
The thought that he used to go all the way to the main mansion just to see me makes me a little happy.
(After all, itâs quite a walk from hereâŠ)
Unlike the Western style main mansion, the annex was built in a traditional Japanese design.
A faint scent of incense drifted through the air.
It smelled so sweet⊠almost dizzyingly so.
When we reached the covered walkway, the butler stopped.
Bug: âIâm afraid Iâm not allowed to enter beyond this point. Youâll find the master ahead.â
You: âOkay. Thank you for guiding me.â
Bug: âAh, um⊠itâs nothing. Excuse me.â
He looked like he wanted to say something but quickly lowered his gaze and walked away in haste.
He really is afraid of ITOME⊠Maybe I should ask Itome to be a little kinder to him later. I wonder if itâd make any difference if I said something.
While I was thinking that and walking down the long corridor,
I heard the faint sound of running water.
Following the soft murmur of water, I leaned over the wooden edge, and thereâbeneath itâwas a bath, steam curling into the air.
ITOME: "âââââprincessâ
You: âWahâ!?â
Warm breath brushed against my ear.
I turned around and there he was, smiling.
ITOME: âSorry to keep you waiting, my princess. You came all this way looking for me?â
âI went out for a bit, and my clothes got dirty. I thought Iâd wash up first before I saw you.â
You: âOh, I see."
Maybe I shouldâve just waited at the mansion⊠but the twins freak me out.
ITOME: âHeh⊠Still, it makes me happy you came to find me.
Wasnât the walk a little long?â
You: âYeah⊠I actually got lost earlier.â
ITOME: âOh Poor thing. My apologies, princess.â
âWhy donât you stay here instead?â
âIâd rather have you close always. I want you, because I love you.â
You: âWh-whatâŠ!?â
His sudden confession sent heat rushing to my face.
ITOME: âHaha⊠that blush suits you. When I see that face, I can hardly stand it. Makes me want to devour you whole.â
His gaze burned into me, and the atmosphere grew heavy.
I tried desperately to think of something to say to change the subject...but the incense clouded my mind.
ITOME: ââŠBy the way, I was about to take a bath. Care to join me?â
He loosened his kimono, and the fabric slid from his shoulders, revealing tanned skin.
I quickly turned away, my heart pounding.
ITOME: âCute reaction. Never seen a manâs body before? Good⊠Iâd hate to think youâve grown used to anyone elseâs.â
âYou look a little dirty yourself, princess. Why not wash off that sweat?â
You: âHuh? D-dirty?â
ITOME: âMm. You smell a little⊠off. Tell meâŠdid you touch something filthy? Something unclean⊠like an bug?â
âWhat? No, I didnâtââ I began, reaching toward myself.but before I could, he caught my wrist.
ITOME: âThen Iâll wash you myself. Every trace of another manâs scent⊠Iâll cleanse it from you.â
His grip was strong. I tried to pull back, but my body wouldnât obey.
My balance was slipping, and I could barely stand without his support.
ITOME: âThe moment you stepped into my territory, you stopped being able to run.â
âOnce a spider catches its preyâŠâ
ââŠhe eats it whole.â
He lifted me easily into his arms.and in that instant, I caught a faint scent beneath the incense⊠the scent of blood from his neck.
OMG GATANII YOU'RE BACK! I MISSED YOU AND YOUR PRETTY ARTWORK IM SO GLAD YOU'RE BACK!
YES! IM BACK!! THANK U~!ð

ITOME: âCome to the annex later, princess. Itâs the perfect place for a secret talk.â
Just as he said, I wandered through the vast grounds in search of Itome. He would vanish from sight every now and then. I had no idea what he was doing, but I didnât particularly care.
He was so kind. He subtly shielded me from the cruel twins and from Yakumo. He never did anything unpleasant. He gave me sweets, and unlike the others, he seemed used to peopleâI could even chat idly with him. More than anyone, he felt human, easy to talk to, and thanks to him, my nerves had begun to ease.
And on top of that, he promised me somethingâthat he would secretly send me home.
I wanted to go home. So I needed to plot with him in secret. The thought of finally returning made my steps light.
You: âStill⊠this place is hugeâŠâ
But I had no idea where the annex was. As I stood there at a loss, I spotted a young man in a butlerâs uniform, gathering fallen leaves. âŠAnother person? Someone other than them?
You: âExcuse me, umâŠâ
???: âWhaâAaaahhh!?â
The moment I called out, he flinched violently, crumpling to the ground. His face, lifted to mine, was twisted with sheer terror.
You: âI-Iâm sorry! I didnât mean to startle you!â
???: âAh⊠um⊠is there something you need, MissâŠ?â
You: âActually, I wanted to ask⊠could you tell me where the annex is? Itome saidâŠâ
The instant I spoke Itomeâs name, his expression collapsed into utter despair, as though the world itself had ended.
???: âM-my Miss⊠h-have I done something wrong? If Iâve offended in any way, I beg your forgivenessâŠ!â
You: âNo, thatâs not it! Reallyâitâs just, he called me, soâŠâ
Flustered, I hurried to deny his misunderstanding. Relief flickered in his eyes for a heartbeatâonly to be replaced again with dread.
???: âHe⊠called you? Youâre⊠going to him? Arenât you afraid?â
You: âAfraid? No⊠why would I be?â
???: ââŠ! Please⊠I beg of you, say nothing of this conversation to Sir Itome. If he learns I spoke with you without permission, I⊠IâllâŠâ
You: âO-okay⊠but why are you so terrified? Itomeâs kindâŠâ
???: ââKindââŠ?â
At that word, his eyes widened in shock. He swallowed hard, his gaze trembling with unease. Then, in a trembling voice, he asked:
???: âForgive me, Miss⊠but⊠who exactly do you think youâre talking aboutâŠ?â
âŠOur conversation was veering off course. To him, Itome was⊠someone frightening?
You: âItome. Who else? Are you okay? Did he do something to you?â
???: âSir Itome⊠kind? To you? Impossible⊠no, and yetâŠâ
You: âHeâs never done anything to me. Honestly, the twins are way scarier.â
???: âI⊠canât even imagine that. Compared to Sir Itome, the twins are far more⊠tolerable. If heâs taken a liking to you⊠thatâs incredibly dangerous. I can only pray⊠that his âkindnessâ lasts.â
His words carried a chilling weight, sending a shiver down my spine. I wanted to ask what he meantâbut I was afraid to hear the answer.
In the end, wasnât I the one who knew nothing about him? And right before me stood someone who seemed utterly consumed by fear of Itome.
Seeing me falter, the butler gasped, shaking his head frantically.
???: âAhâforget what I said! Forgive me, Miss! Please⊠disregard everything. Allow me to show you the way.â
He forced the conversation closed, rising to his feet. But the fear in his eyes as he glanced back burned itself into my mind. And suddenly⊠I was afraid to meet Itome at all.
Can I really trust the one Iâm about to see?
With unease clawing at my heart, I stepped toward the place where he awaited meâ
This time, let me briefly introduce "the bug" a butler who plays an important role in Itomeâs route!
Heâs in charge of all kinds of chores such as cleaning and laundry, under Yakumoâs orders.
On top of that, Itome has even assigned him to handle cookingâŠ
Heâs basically a severely overworked one-man army! ð lol
Actually, when I first came up with the concept for this series, it all branched out from his original draft.
When I thought, âLetâs draw something that fits the concept firstâŠâ I imagined a pure love story about a spider boy being captivated and toyed with by a graceful, butterfly-like human woman.
That was the starting point.
Since I personally adore characters like him, I thought it would be fun. But for the sake of studying illustration, I switched the protagonist to a heroine instead, and rebuilt the idea with a variety of male characters.
So, heâs a âmob characterâ I actually have a quiet attachment to.
A despair-stricken face suits him perfectly, so I really want Lord Itome to drive him into utter despair.
Someday, Iâd love to create a full story just for this boyâŠ
That INFP vibe of his is just irresistibleâŠehehe

Youâre catching your breath in the mansionâs vast kitchen when a loud crash erupts from LHAâs room.
Panicking, you rush overâonly to clamp a hand over your mouth at the horrific sight.
The thick stench of blood.
Spiderwebs draped across the entire room.
And in the middle of it allâthem.
HAL: âIâm done with you today! Iâll kill you, you bastard!!â
HAL roars, relentlessly stabbing LHA.
You: âS-stop!! What are you doing!?â
Fighting the nausea, you stumble toward them. HAL slowly turns to face you.
Your eyes catch LHAâs mangled formâyou instantly avert your gaze.
D-did he kill himâŠ!?
LHA: âTook you long enough~.â
His usual voice.
Casual. Like youâre just having an everyday chat.
You glance at himâdespite the blood bubbling from his mouth, his expression is disturbingly nonchalant.
LHA: âWish you couldâve seen HALâs dumb face just now~.â
You: âAre⊠are you okayâŠ?â
LHA: âYeah. Weâre not human. This? Just a little spat.â
HAL: âA spat my ass! Iâm seriously pissed today! This bastard ate my cookies!â
You: ââŠCookies?â
Your mind flashes to the ones you baked for HAL earlier.
HAL: âI was looking forward to them, damn it!â
LHA: âThey were delicious~ â€â
HALâs brows shoot up at the provocation.
HAL: âDonât you dare die until I rip every last crumb outta you, bastard!â
You: âWait! Wait!! Iâll make you more cookies, okay? So⊠canât you two just⊠make up? Please?â
HAL: âI donât like how nice you are to him⊠You taking his side over mine?â
You: âN-no, of course notâŠâ
HAL pouts, then shoves his blood-soaked knife toward you.
HAL: âProve it. Stab him.â
You: âWhat!?â
At that, LHA twists his lips into a wicked grin.
LHA: âOh, I like this. I wanna see you stab meâfeel that guilt twistinâ you up inside.â
Two pairs of cold blue eyes bore into you like daggers.
These deranged twinsâwhat the hell do they want from youâŠ?
After HAL set his eyes on me,
he put a collar around my neck and made me stick by his side all the time.
He treats me like Iâm some kind of pet.
If I resist, he throws a nasty tantrum, so Iâve got no choice but to obey quietly.
âOne afternoon.
While the twins enjoyed their elegant teatime, I was ordered to kneel at their feet and wait.
The sweet smell of desserts reached my nose, and my stomach growled.
Of course, there was nothing there for meâŠ.
But âYes,â I replied obediently.
HAL: âHeh, thatâs it, good girl. Just sit there quietly while I finish my tea, and Iâll give you a reward later.â
When I looked up at him, he gazed down at me with a blissful smile, like he was completely lost in the moment.
HAL: ââŠAh, whyâs my pet so damn cute, huh? Donât look at me like that, youâre makinâ me wanna spoil you.â
LHA: Wow, classy. Making her kneel like a dog. Ever heard of a chair?
When LHA said that in exasperation,
HAL glared at him, his brows raised.
HAL: â DONâT YOU DARE WORRY ABOUT HER!!âŠdonât butt in. Sheâs mine!
You so much as mess with her, and Iâll hijack your brain and end you, for real this time!!!!â
LHA: âThen whyâd you even bring her here in front of me, huh?â
HAL: âObviously, to brag. What, jealous? Cute, right?
She listens to every word I sayâmy own obedient pet. Sheâs not for anyone else. "
Then HAL turned to me, his voice dripping with that bossy, training-a-pet kind of tone, and saidâ
HAL: âSo you better not even think about wagging your tail for anyone else. Youâre mine.â
