I've only known Arin for 2 days, but if anything happened to him... well, you know the meme. Luzu hit such a specific special interest niche of mine making this dude, I love Arin.

For people who are familiar with Luzu in QSMP / Karmaland but don't know Arin, the TDLR of it is: when Luzu goes to sleep, Arin, a being from a different world, “wakes up” in his body. Arin's a very innocent, curious, and intelligent person who's just learning about the world. He's only been "alive" for about a week, but many members of the server have already taken advantage of his naivéty and have been very cruel to him. :'(

Yesterday's QSMP trailer got me so hyped that I dropped everything to do a little something for it. These drawings are actually from a COMPLETELY different project I'm working on, but that trailer made me crazy and I wanted to contribute something too, even if it's short.

I like to imagine that at the end of MTMTE, Rung took that little Rung figurine with him. :’) I really miss this series, and I’d love to reread it sometime (if only I could get my hands on Volume 7... then my collection will be complete).

Anyways, it’s been a hot minute. I was admittedly skeptical when I first heard about Promare, but I went to see it anyways solely because the animation looked cool. (I then proceeded to watch it 4 more times then paid an absurd amount of money to see it in 4DX). I’m really glad I gave it a chance because the entire movie is SO hype and such a huge serotonin rush!

“Wouldn’t it be nice if both of Allen’s dads were alive?” I say 2 seconds before spiraling into self-indulgent niche AU hell. Anyways, this is my take on a DGM “Howl’s Mana’s Moving Castle” AU.

I don’t care if people read this as platonic or romantic or whatever, but if Hoshino “Luke & Leia”s us at some point, that’s on you. In the meantime, (Older) Mana / Cross is my “Schrodinger’s Crackship” because: 1) I want Allen to have his dads back and I love the “Found Family” trope, 2) Mana / Cross has the potential to be both sweet yet tragic and I love to suffer, but mostly: 3) I love the implication that Mr. Womanizer Cross has (or had) feelings for a clown because that’s downright hysterical. Mana may deserve better, but Cross sure doesn’t, lmao.

A bit of an older drawing that I haven’t had the motivation to finish / post till now. Anyways, if you like unrequited love / mutually unrequited love, oblivious idiots, or slow-burns derailed by revolution, then you should read my Megop fic “Change, In All Things, Is Inevitable”! It covers their first meeting, the inevitable fallout, and beyond, but each chapter can exist as a stand-alone. My personal favorites are chapter 4 (fluff + friendship), chapter 6 (the fallout, because I Love To Suffer), chapter 7 (Megatron / Soundwave moments), and chapters 9+10+11 (delicious angst, hope, and bittersweet endings).

Yes, I know I’m recommending about half the fic, but it’s a fun read! (Though if I REALLY had to choose, Chapter 11 is my absolute favorite). Go check it out!

Long time no art post! (I swear I’m still alive). To celebrate Gemsona-HQ’s six year anniversary, I opened up gemsona requests for the first time in years. I originally planned to only pick a few and do very basic doodles, but I got way too enthusiastic seeing everyone’s gemsona designs and, well, here we are. :’D Better late than never, I suppose! I also got really excited when I realized I could turn this into a gemsona rainbow.

I actually drew this last year for a friend’s birthday, but I completely forgot to post the darn thing after I sent it to her :’D I think out of all the couples on the Lost Light, this pairing is the one that caught us both off-guard the most. Unexpected, but charming for sure! These two dorks deserve each other.

Way to play yourself, Tailgate. I always thought the minibots’ interactions (esp. Tailgate’s and Rewind’s) were sweet. I love their friendship, and all the friendships in MTMTE! Someday I’ll write out the fic I had in mind for Tailgate and Rewind, but for now, a comic will have to do. 

Long time no Megaman! I blame severe burnout and an overall lack of time, among other things. Mostly old doodles with some new ones scattered in, including the unfinished companion piece I originally planned to accompany the other two entries I did for Miyabi’s “30th Anniversary Megaman Project”. Alas, the best laid plans of mice and men, as they say.

I know the "Robot Cataclysm" theory (aka "Zero goes on a murdering rampage and kills all the Classic characters") has been disproven, but that's not going to stop me from imagining an epic final throwdown between my two favorite DWNs. The first DWN vs. the last DNW...I love the idea (though it’s sure to end badly...for poor Metalman, anyways). We’ll just have to pretend in that scenario, Megaman would swoop in to save the day!

💕 Happy (belated) Valentine's Day! 💕 I was determined to submit something to @rockmiyabideusexmachina’s V-day contest no matter what, so after realizing I didn’t have time to do my original idea for the Humor category, I whipped together this comic for the Talent one (though I think the subject matter leans more towards humor, oops). This is definitely the fastest comic I've ever drawn; I wound up pulling two all-nighters in order to ensure it got finished. For something I put together in three-ish days (+ one day of cleanup / layout), I actually think it turned out pretty nice! (Please full-view, and click for captions!)

I based this comic on two goofy textposts I made almost a year ago. I don't think Zero or X are the marriage-type because their bond goes beyond human constructs of relationships (and they wouldn't feel the need to make their love official in other people's eyes), but this goof was too good to pass up! I'm still not over how ridiculously huge their hands are, especially in the Megaman X5 / X6 official art (I still love the artwork from those games though).

I wanted to make an official ref for my Reploid oc, Monarch Monsoon, and in the process, I wound up creating an entire sketchdump of her (and some other characters)! Needless to say, it got out of hand real fast. I decided to throw in some other neat OCs I've seen because there's so many cool fan designs, I figured it’d be fun to show them a little love while doing the same for my gal. (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

This is the second (non-collab) piece I did for Miyabi’s 30th Anniversary project! (Please full-view). Like I said in my last piece, my partner and I decided we’d pay tribute to Megaman 8′s neat intro for the ‘Megaman Mashup’ prompt. It wound up being a super relevant idea because a few weeks after our decision, someone got their hands on the animation cels for Megaman 8!

I decided to draw Zero in Blues' (Protoman’s) iconic "standing on a rocky outcrop in front of the clouds while looking cool" pose for the prompt theme. They're both stoic guys who are secretly way less calm and collected than they appear, so I thought it was a good match! I had a lot of fun drawing the clouds and coloring Zero (that being said...drawing his helmet from the back was absolute hell). I'm really fond of using Archie comic's bright color palettes now!

To ensure I’d have something done in time, I participated in Miyabi’s 30th Anniversary collab project! My partner Gingler and I decided to pay tribute to Megaman 8’s intro for the ‘Megaman Mashup’ prompt, swapping Rock for X, Roll for Roll Caskett, and Dr. Light for his tropical Battle Network alter-ego, Tadashi Hikari! I did the initial sketch, Gingler did the lineart, I tweaked X and Roll, my partner colored Roll, I colored X, and I did the flats for Dr. Light while they did the finishing touches on him (though for this image, I colored all three characters)! The gif below shows my process on this drawing, with my partner’s original lineart in the second frame.

“But isn’t this supposed to be a collab project?” Why yes, it is! My partner will be posting our official collaboration piece sometime soon- I just liked the lineart we did so much, I couldn’t resist using it for coloring practice! There was another drawing I really wanted to finish for the anniversary, but I ran out of time. Regardless, I might try to finish it anyways and post it later! (You can view everyone else’s anniversary drawings here).
