Being stuck in a train for 8 hours, I started to write a new OS even though "N/A" hasn't been posted yet (I can't draw and using my laptop, whose battery is in the limbo between death and a remnant of life, would be too much of a hassle). Just so you know, I'm having a lot of fun with Rock and Roll's relationship regarding what being a navi means. They both influenced each other a lot in Memory, with Roll learning to become more human by observing Rock while also teaching him to behave correctly as a navi. In the end, they achieved an average of being both perfectly deviant for navis albeit for different reasons, but at least Roll unwillingly managed to cover up the fact that Rock never was a true navi at all almost by herself XD
my favourite moment of rockman exe stream so far is when yuichiro has one (1) moment of acting like a responsible adult and not letting an untrained child fight dangerous viruses and then 5 mins later is immediately undermined by meijin-san raring to go

"N/A" is done! I still have to refine the text, especially since I wrote a lot on my phone, and spell check but the overall story is written.
I probably won't start publishing before next week, when I have my desktop computer and a reliable internet connection, but it should be up soon. It's a short story (18000 words divided in four chapters).
Because Makoto is narrating, I had to work out the whole timeline and... Wow, I knew the whole future part of Memory would happen roughly in the 2 years following the end of battle network (mostly because copyroid's research takes time), but actually seeing it is weird. There's 6 months between "N/A"'s first chapter and the ending!
Sooo, do the Hikari Twins count as a single unit for the character ask game?

I have always liked Lan and Megaman's relationship. Megaman seemed like an good supporter, always caretaking and trying to guide Lan. Lan was just a goofball who didn't want to do his work but it was clear they meant a lot to each other and I loved that about them. And finding out they were twins made it so much better
Hikari Twins is never ending, I am stuck forever in the abyss. Them trying to find ways to overcome the barrier separating them, still trying to do things together, growing up together...they are my absolute favorite hands down.
I think BN2 ending has to be my favorite moment when they were fighting Sean Oboro and Lan took in way too much radiation to even be alive and he couldn't move and Megaman reminded him that they are always connected by so heart even if he couldn't move his hands he could still operate with his heart and I just--
I have been working on Beyond the Net part 6 for too many years so um let's go with a different idea yeah? I have been playing with the idea of the BN3 segment where Lan helps Mr.Match install all those fire viruses and it compromises SciLabs? The only change is that Hub is there too. And now he's trapped as well :") That would make the situation much more dire, not only is his dad in there, now his twin with dormant heart problems is stuck in a building that the temperature is sky high. I'm sure the emotional toll would be much worse too, we already see how hard he took his dad's injuries but now Hub is hurt too? Oh no. Oh nooooo.
I feel like the Hikari twins are neglected. Don't get me wrong Yuichiro definitely cares about them, its clear from his actions, he loves his sons but he BARELY spends any time with them. He's always at work for long periods of extended time. Maybe take some days off and spend with your family huh? They are adolescents this is the most important stage of their life to spend time with them before they become young adults. Do better Yuichiro!
The Hikari Twins are my favorite relationship lol. But if that's too corny then I would definitely say their relationship with Chaud and Protoman is my favorite. Lan and Hub have blood connecting them and they are very close, but in their own way they have closeness. Protoman is probably the closest thing Chaud has to family. They have the same dynamics and I enjoy watching them fight together.
That Lan mirrors Hub's illness. He already canonically mirrors his pain and injuries so why stop there? He probably feels when an HBD attack is coming on. If Hub has a fever Lan probably does too, not because he's sick but because he is mirroring his twin. They are fully synched at all times, just not in full synchro.
