In which we have a list of various tropes as the writing prompts. While these tropes are commonly used as recurring plot devices in fanfiction, you can also write your original story with them.

For 30 days (August 1st—August 30th, the 31st is the rest day), you can write anything with a different prompt for each day.

Thank you so much to all who submitted! I'll have to do the math for how many we actually received, but let's go with LOTS for now! I'm thrilled to see so many great ideas!

With quite a few prompts that have come in over the past two days, we'll be going though and responding to those submissions throughout the rest of today (7/16). These will be staggered so as to not to totally inundate the PHM tags, but apologies in advance for the 15+ posts that we'll be making today. Or not, because who can be mad about getting loads of creative prompts, right?? Rest assured, all prompts sent in WILL be answered by today, even if they appear out of order or late.

For those non-anons who submitted a prompt that was selected, you'll get a message from us today with the news! If you'd like to select the date your prompt takes place on (first come, first serve), please respond within 24 hours of our message. I know it's a short turnaround, but it's because *drumroll* the Augustellar Official Prompt List will be going live tomorrow!

The following prompts will be split over the eight-day span. Feel free to mix and match as much as you like! Do one prompt each day, or write something using all three. If you want to reuse a prompt across multiple days, go ahead! Everything below is a suggestion—creative freedom is yours.

In addition to those prompts, we also got some more specific prompts ! I organized them in a bingo card, they count like bonus/alt prompts ! You'll get a little badge if you finish the bingo, but you don't have to to be a completionist.

Alternate Universe takes on our favorite stories—be they shows or books we love, or tales of our creation—can be a delightfully fun way to explore what makes those stories tick, what makes those characters who they are, and what in them is important to why we enjoy them.

On the other side of the coin, some settings and scenerios are popular for AUs because there's something special about that environment or situation that really tickles our brains, and it can be fun to figure out how to fit different characters and their contexts into that world.

So let's run through the multiverse and play with some AUs!

Feel free to combine different days’ prompts with each other, or combine them with other events, like last year's March of the Blorbos! Draw, paint, sculpt, sing, write fiction, write poetry, write academic analysis—use your OCs, your favorite characters from media, your own experiences, whatever tickles your fancy.

SuperPhantom Week 2026, yippe ki-yay!!!!

Danny Phantom / Supernatural (TV 2005), what a funny crossover... let's do this again. Fanfic, fanart, other multimedia or crafts, whatever you want, all are welcome. But I need help with prompts, so let me hear them!!!

i am pleased to announce that the prompts form is now open! it's completely anonymous, and it has a space for any feedback you deem necessary, which you can also send in the blog's askbox :)

feel free to fill the form as many times as you please, regardless of whether you are disabled or not!! it will be open until the end of july/beginning of august, so you have time to think about what you wish to write and/or read during this challenge

Hello hello hello! It is so lovely to be posting this very exciting event! Us head mods have done some plotting, and wanted to open up some fun to the community!

We have made a disability bingo, as you can see by the images on this post. There are 25 total prompts and we will have some prizes as well! Minimum requirement is a complete sketch, or 500 words, per prompt.

~ For a bingo: you will get to pick from one of at least 6 mini emote packs! (There may be more!)

~ For a blackout: You will get ALL of the emotes!

BONUS: For the first five people to complete a blackout that is either at least line art, or a minimum of ~1000 (± 75) words per piece you will get a free digital copy of the zine when it releases next year!
