Last song: when I started writing this it was To Her Door by Paul Kelly (because I am terminally a middle aged Australian man in spirit), now it’s Hitchin a Ride by Green Day. Both are bangers. Hitchin a Ride is one of my all time faves.

Currently watching: I watched Tropic Thunder today so. I don’t really watch TV shows so much as watch Top Gun/TGM on repeat. It’s bad bro, I know it’s bad.

Currently reading: hypothetically I’m about to start reading Frankenstein.

Current obsession: Top Gun. It’s really really bad bro.

Currently working on: I would really like to be working on literally any of my WIPs but writers block has me by the throat and not even in a sexy way 💔

currently watching: last thing I watched was sk8 the infinity(yes I’m gay) and interview with a vampire season one ep 3(rewatching for the new season!!)

Currently reading: fanfic(Ryland x Tony) but in terms of novels then Wings of fire book 17 (yes the dragon Yaoi one)

Currently working on: my new wip as I said, it’s a marvel fic where Peter is kidnapped by hydra and through experimentation and genetic combining he’s made into the ultimate attack animal. Think twilight werewolves meet Jurassic worlds indo-raptor. Originally it was gonna be more so recovery fic but it wasn’t going anywhere so I changed it to make it more horror kinda like the og Jurassic park novels(like animal horror-but not in a way that makes them into monsters- just shows us what they are capable of. ) had a great time with the creature design!)

oh boy! i haven’t been a part of one of these tag threads in like a decade! thanks for the tag moot!

last song: ah. well i’ve fallen back into old teenage habits and i’ve been listening to fall out boy on repeat. last listened song was fame < infamy, it’s one of my favourites!

currently watching: it’s not often i watch tv shows, though i’m making my way through my long list of movie recs. most recent movie i watched from it was drive!

currently reading: i’m halfway though andy weir’s the martian and i love it! i knew nothing about the story going in but im very much enjoying it!

currently obsessed with: project hail mary. as many of us are. though my love for red dead redemption stays strong as always! and star wars but mostly just luke and din. hehe.

currently working on: i have not been writing much although my current WIP is a vandermatthews fic that takes place in the 80’s. hosea is a science teacher with a 12yr old son (arthur!) that he’s been raising on his own. dutch is a mechanic that meets hosea while they’re both at the local roller rink. i haven’t gotten very far into the story but i’m rly enjoying it!

This fanfiction is heavily inspired by the events of Red Dead Redemption 2 with a bit of inspiration from the events of Red Dead Redemption 1 as well.

hosea is typically a teacher in my modern AUs, sometimes he teaches theatre but i LOVE science and learning about it so naturally i wanted him to be a science teacher

hosea needing glasses also a consistent part of my modern AUs (though he tends to avoid wearing them when he should)

the blonde hair, the glasses, the off-white chucks i gave him when he visits the museum.

hm. perhaps i just rebranded (movie) ryland grace. and that’s ok!
