What would happen to Kafka if he really did die? I don't think his body could get converted into a weapon for two reason other than morality. The man was once human and his transformation into a kaiju wasn't normal.

Soshiro already experiences side effects like the mental link when 10 was made into his Number suit. Who knows what would happen with a Numbers Weapon made from Kaiju No. 8? Plus I don't think Tiny will let anyone else handle such power either.

This is what came to mind with the thought of Kafka's death. A new Larval Kaiju would be born from his body. However it doesn't just take the kaiju powers but the man's soul is also a part of it.

Like any Numbers Weapon, Kafka would choose the next host to Kaiju No. 8. The decision falls on him as he is way more familiar with the modern world and much fairer judgment. He doesn't want any future user to flounder like he did in the beginning.

Kafka will guide them with some help from Tiny. Something closer to an actual partnership as he helps their chosen host with the burden of Kaiju No. 8's power. This whole reincarnation would also greatly affect his friends especially those in the Defense Force.

It does take a moment to realize that this isn't just any kaiju but their comrade. How his powers are closer to a generational curse since a new Larva will be born after the prior user dies. Their soul being only added to the collective. Even if Kafka controls the body, the man's fate is made bitterly obvious.

Something that can be more morbid should his new host be someone very close. (Friends or loved ones for those who ship this loveable himbo.) It's their choice in the end as this isn't something he wants to rob anyone unless there is no choice.

I am begging the UK trans community and its allies to attend the Mass Lobby at Parliament on June 25th, 11am-4pm, organised by Trans Solidarity Alliance.

The new EHRC Code of Practice pushes trans people out of toilets, hospital wards, and community spaces. It normalises gender policing based on appearance and stereotypes. It becomes statutory guidance in the UK by the end of June.

Trans people are now legally their assigned gender at birth and must join gendered spaces accordingly, but if they are perceived as their lived gender, they can also be ejected from those spaces. The guidance says: either break the law, or don’t pass too well.

A mass lobby is where you invite your MP to discuss your concerns with you in-person. Ask your MP to:

Demand full parliamentary scrutiny, debate, and use their free vote on the EHRC Code of Practice.

Support any motions rejecting the EHRC guidance. As of June 4th, Labour MP Nadia Whittome has submitted a prayer motion - Early Day Motion 240.

every single time i have had to say, "i understand that if he had food or water, he could aspirate it into his lungs under anesthesia. i am not lying to you." THEN someone would make a little note and i would stop being repeatedly asked.

not a single time was that risk explained to me. the only reason it came up was because i already knew. i still don't understand why it isn't standard pre-op counseling or pre-op check information, when me as a parent acknowledging the actual risk also put THE MEDICAL STAFF at ease because i conveyed that i had informed understanding as reason to not lie about giving my kid food.

so when he knocks the brainwashed Hunters unconscious and reports it to Germany’s Hunters Association, the lady who answers the phone asks him if he has any evidence to prove that he didn’t just attack innocent people, which is why he has to go back and talk to the lady he was asking about Bjorn

this caught my interest in part because my initial impression was “dang they don’t trust their own S-Ranks”, until I realized that people like Hwang Dong-Soo exist that would absolutely murder someone in broad daylight and blame it on an unconfirmed phenomenon that no one else has ever reported.

based on that alone, I’d say it’s a fair reaction to ask for some kind of evidence, even though he didn’t kill them—which is it’s own evidence in a way since he would’ve had to hold back to do that, and if he was planning to hold back why would he attack them in the first place?

then I started thinking “shouldn’t this be the standard? why haven’t we seen this before?” and then I realized that both the KHA and the FBH basically bend over backwards for sjw all the time in canon, and we almost never see any other Hunters interact with any of the official organizations in this manner, so that’s probably why

so for now, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that outside of sjw, they do use proper protocol and actually fact-check what their biggest assets tell them

but then THAT got me thinking, if sjw gets special treatment as South Korea’s strongest Hunter, then why doesn’t Lennart? ik one of the big issues with the KHA originally is that they simply don’t have enough manpower to maintain the status quo if the guilds get too strong, so does Germany’s Association not have that problem, so they don’t have to be as lenient and flexible to maintain their power?

to me this implies that any s-rank who actually choose to follow the law is subject to its full scrutiny while any of them that don’t get leniency because there’s always the threat of them just blowing you up

and honestly that’s so unfair. I love it
