Daddy Charming comforting his baby girl
David nodded. "I suppose you are right, it is quite hypocritical for me to judge considering my own story.â He smiled as he listened to his daughter talk about her friend, her eyes seemed to twinkle at the mention. âYou sound rather sweet on him, dearest.â
He pulled his hood down a little, gosh he hoped this disguise worked, the last thing he wanted was to do was cause panic. They were beloved leaders for the most part but to see the king outside the castle might be odd? He nudge Emma. âIf your friend makes an appearance, you must introduce me.â
"I am. He's very dear to me... As a friend, of course," Emma nodded to herself when specifying that. "And I doubt he'll show up, I'm assuming he's back to his ship... Although he did take a few breaks lately, either he didn't feel well or his crew didn't, it's like he always ends up in my same tavern. Such an odd pirate, spending so much time on land." The last words were pronounced with obvious affection as she adjusted her gown and came out of the carriage.
She had warned her father about her closeness to the people, so when she opened the doors of the tavern, which in Hansel and Gretel's case was really a place where townspeople also brought their families to eat, she figured he wasn't going to be too surprised by the rain of 'Hi, Emma!' and 'Welcome, Emma!' and 'look who is here!' and similar cries from the people there. And Emma for a second completely forgot the rest and acted like she always did. "Hello everyone! Now, don't let me interrupt your dinners, food and drinks are on me!" the cheering that followed made her laugh as she looked around for a table, "Nina, did you cut your hair? You look gorgeous! Hey Jo, is your wife feeling better?... Gretel, two big cups of the usual and some cake! Oh, hello you! Remember to write me the letter with the books you need!" she stopped to bump fists or hug and kiss cheeks all the way to the empty table, just as a cheery music started to play and the musician waved at her, "Thank you, darling! There's going to be some serious dancing here later!" Emma stopped only to make a face because Gretel had just put a chest with oranges at her table, âReally?â âThe cake is coming and eating something healthy first wonât kill you, Em!â âIâm not eating a fruit!â âThen I wonât bring you cake!â "I'll have you arrested!" "And I'll probably eat better than you do once in a cell! Have an orange!" her friend yelled back, already walking to her counter. "You are awful and this is treason!" Emma sat down and took and orange, shaking her head as she began to peel it. "She's one of my close friends." She wasn't surprised people hadn't focused too much on her company, they were so used to her having the strangest guests that someone with their face covered hadn't really attracted attention. They might think he was someone with a dubious past and it was safer not to look. "See, even if mom is not around...â she shook her head, âIf you are wondering, yes, I do know everyone here.â
Snow was furious. A side she rarely showed to the world. She was very protective of her family.
âWhat? Why not?â
She said, glaring in the princeâs direction before turning her attention towards her daughter.
âAlright.. Youâre right.. But I wonât forget this.â
She muttered, shaking her head in disbelief, before guiding her daughter back inside.
âMom...â She was fuming, Emma could see that. âYou must know how it works...?â Â She was beloved by her people, yes, but princes and other royalty? Not so much. And she couldn't really react the way she wanted, she had punched a duke once and her father had had to work to fix the problem. Emma didn't want to repeat the same mistake again. Or at least not in a way that would get her caught.

Whenever he thought of giving up, Zarekâs mind always turned to Emma, how there was at least one person whoâd miss him. Though times like this he was finding it hard to hold on, hiding in the darkness from hunters. Those who feared him for what he was, and wanted him dead.Â

"Do you want to kick their ass, or shall I?"
Emma jumped when he motherâs voice caught her off guard. She had just been - privately - humiliated by prince Sebastian and his close friends near the stairs, unable to reply because if she did, she knew she'd end up punching him and getting her family in trouble; she lost her temper enough as it was, if she could hold back at court she would. She hadn't expected her mother to hear. She also hadn't expected herself to burst into a laugh any time soon, but there she was. "Mom! We can't do that!" she laughed, the bad mood partly vanishing - he had basically compared her to wenches, and that part was even acceptable to her, but using it to point out how she wasn't good enough for a prince was less easy to let go of. "Do you want us to get in some kind of war with that kingdom? Let it go..." her hand went to her shoulder, Emma thankful that her father hadn't been the one to hear; her mom seemed more reasonable in that. It was exactly for the two of them that she was holding back in the first place.
âEmma, if he scarred your face I would have to kill him.â The tone in his voice was a little chilling, the prince who was usually a just man had no qualms with raising a blade to a scoundrel who would hurt his daughter.
He looked at her curiously. âWhat kind of name is Killian anyway? He couldnât say it was one he had heard of before, were he a person of note Charming thought the man would have at least been mentioned to him at some point.
"Missing the point here, daddy," Emma laughed even more, leaning against him, "Please, as if I'd let anyone scar my face. I'd run them through myself for trying." Not the most delicate way to respond to it, but she was sure her dad would appreciate. Though it was adorable that her father would be so protective even hypothetically. "Just meant to say that given the way you and mom met, you two should really be more open-minded about rogues, you never know what their story is or how they really are."
She hadn't mentioned Killian to him before, apparently. It wasn't as if she hid her friends, just the dangerous circumstances she met some of them in. "I didn't realize I hadn't mentioned him yet... I guess he became such a... normal part of my life that I forgot to make a big deal out of him like I normally do for friends. Suddenly he was just... there. A bit like Grace and Pinocchio, which really says a lot about him because I certainly haven't known him for that long, but I really can't imagine not seeing him again soon. You'd like him. Well, no." She tilted her head, "He puts up a front at first, so you wouldn't like that part, because he acts all cocky," which wasn't very different from how she acted in the first place,
"But once you know him he's a sweetheart. He does not enjoy being called a sweetheart, but I don't care. He is, and he's very clever, funny and protective, and brave. He's also such a gentleman it's even funnier, because I've met many princes who fancied themselves as such and then showed a different face when unhappy, while Killian, who doesn't have to pretend at all, would never disrespect him because I'm a woman. He's a gift." She looked outside of her small window and patted her father's knee, "Time for you to hide your face a bit more."
Sleep was truly the last thing on Cyrusâ mind, he slept more then enough whilst in his bottle. Â There was little else to do, and despite not being born a genie he was almost certain it was just part of what he happened to be now. Â If he were to keep a normal sleep pattern, the long weeks that stretched into months, years, and possibly decades, would become maddening. Â To say the least.
Once Emma had taken her leave, it took only a moment for him to begin looking over the small collection of books she had. Â These may give him an idea of this place, what to expect and perhaps a small clue to the customs and all in this Enchanted Forest. Â Cyrus was positive heâd heard of it before, but as it was somewhere he had never thought heâd visit, he paid little heed. Â Books were, at times, an excellent place to start in learning about a new land.
Besides, it would take his mind off the rather strange occurrence upon being released from his bottle. Fingers weaving the cord his talisman hung from absently between them, he tried to give that little thought. Â Genies werenât human, no matter how much they appeared to be so. Â Never mind some of the wild stories in his own land; at least he hadnât found himself changed in a way that he was terrifying to look at. Â A lopsided grin at that thought; humans had quite the imaginations.
With a book in hand, he walked the few steps to the bed and settled to read, quite happily. Â Only to discover this whole ideal of soulmates was quite ingrained into the way of life in this particular realm. Â Cyrusâ eyebrows slowly began to knit together in thought as he read each page, while there was talk of such in Agrabah it didnât seem to be as held in such high regard; more a fact of life. Â Either you found the one fate deemed for you or you fell in love with another.
Then perhaps his view was a little different, having grown up a bit detached from the population.
There was the concept of platonic soulmates, there had to be. Â Cyrus was determined to cling to that as hard as he could; perhaps fate had finally decided to smile on him for once. Â It had been centuries, he was certain, since someone had really looked at him as an equal, not just a genie to grant their every wish (three wishes anyway), could something good finally happen? Â It almost seemed too dangerous to hope that Emma would continue to see him as a possible friend, she could turn around one day and wish for all her problems to be resolved after all.
Cyrus had become so intent on the book he was reading, he failed to notice the time pass. Â A problem with immortality, he was sure, and was startled a bit when he heard Emmaâs voice. Â Had the night passed already? Â âGood morning, Emma,â he answered, standing and setting the book aside on the bed. Â Walking around the wall the separated the small area from the rest of her living quarters, he smiled warmly towards her. Â âI trust you slept well.â
"Mh-mh!" Her humming was happy as she nodded, opening a window to let fresh air and sunlight come in. "I hope you had a good night too! I was going to warm up some bread and cheese, I also have berries, if you'd like... I hopefully won't get distracted and burn the whole thing."
She was already looking for what she needed, using her magic to light a fire - it was the first thing she had learned and the only that never failed - "We need more firewood, I'll go outside and get it. You can start having berries, though!" Emma threw a smile in his direction, the good mood winning over now that she had rested, "Or make tea, or just wait for me, it's your choice!"
It made sense to her, wanting to reassure themselve that people were still there by touching them. Thinking of him being ordered around and not considered like a person, or magical creature, with feelings and thoughts was infuriating, however. âThat wonât happen with me,â she murmured, thinking that sheâd show it with actions more than words, hopefully.
She nodded quickly, âSame here. There was a terrible tyrant, the Evil Queen, and a few more witches that caused countless deaths and suffering, and she was fought off not long ago. People are understandably terrified at the thought of another one taking her place, and I was already famous for my inappropriate attitude before, I made many enemies while helping townspeople. So now some of the commoners are reasonably scared, and most of the noble people are maliciously happy to have the chance to shun me. But I donât really care about the latter, I donât even need magic to shut them up,â despite the topic that normally had her close off, the thought of punching a few royals who were using this for their own gain made her tone just as relaxed as before. Hurting people, now that left her desperate.
She let go of the bed when it was in the right place - the room was communicant to hers with the large opening in the middle of the wall so if he spoke sheâd hear him - Â and for the first time since they had met Emma actually grinned, âAlways felt the same way myself. Which is why I kept doing what I wanted.â
Nodding, Emma looked around in case she had forgotten to tell him something, but everything was within reach for him so heâd hardly need indication. And then she thought again of what he had said about touching people and stopped right next to him, hesitating before reaching out to squeeze his shoulder, âIâll be right there if you need anything, really. There are a few books over there, Iâll get you more tomorrow.â She let go, smiling and stepping away, âGoodnight, Cyrus.â
Her words were soft, but the genie picked up on them. Â A smile tugged at the corners of his lips, rather glad she wasnât against that particular habit he had. Â There was little doubt to his mind that more than just himself could be rather tactile in nature, merely in some ways his reasoning could be a touch different than others. Â Cyrus was not looking for much other than to be absolutely sure it was no just a fancy of his mind to keep him from feeling completely alone.
Unfortunately, he mused, the reasoning she gave for how the people in this land viewed powerful magic made far too much sense. Â That didnât make it right, but he could sympathize with how they felt. Â Some who abused power a great deal could easily distort how people saw others, regardless of how each person may use the magic they have. Â âI am sorry, it is a small minded way of thinking but sadly common.â Â Heâd been subject to it as well, on a smaller scale. Â Not all genies were like himself; some were malicious and would do anything to bring ruin to their master. Perhaps, he wondered as they went about moving the bed to the desired location, those were the ones born genies. Â Cyrus saw no point, but it didnât mean in the beginning he didnât attempt some trickery to free himself.
It never worked, but he tried until he realized it was far better to accept fate as it was.
Letting go of the end he was holding, once it was in place, he shrugged at her comment. Â âA dragon is difficult to slay, or I found it to be so, if a lady could do the same then they deserve nothing but respect.â Â Dark eyes widened a bit at that, an apologetic smile forming as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously. Â âI did not mean that in a negative way; there are men who could not handle the task either. Â That particular master I had being an example.â Â Perhaps the entire population of men in the village, if Cyrus recalled correctly most spoke of slaying the dragon and yet he was the one who finally took care of it. Â Not because he wanted to, it would have been far better if it had moved on but with the treasure it had amassed he doubted it ever would.
All it would take was one fool thinking to steal from it, and the entire village could have been in ruin. Â It seemed terrible how it all played out, but that was simply how it worked.
Maybe there was a touch of joy that glimmered in his eyes when she directed his attention to the books she had, and he did a poor job of hiding it. Â Whatever the subject, it may give him some idea on what this new realmâs culture was at the very least. Â Everything changed over time, and although at one time heâd been well versed in a great many customs that didnât mean they still stood today. Â âThank you Emma, I am sure I shall be quite occupied with a book and leave you to your rest,â he replied, looking to her with a smile before he made any movement towards the books. Â âI hope you sleep well.â
Emma shook her head, feeling a little amused by his quckly he wanted to reasure her that he didn't mean any disrespect when speaking of lady who slayed dragons. "No, I got it, I got it."
He seemed very eager to ge to the boks to her, and she stepped back with a smile of her own, "Have a good night," she only said, returning to her side of the place. As if she could sleep that easily. Her soulmate was in her house, she had met him, their hearts had glowed, and she couldn't help but wonder what it meant for her that he wasn't human, that he could be literally stolen from her through the bottle, that the poor genie had been mistreat for so long; in what way where they soulmates? Because she was someone who would never use him as a slave and he wouldn't be scared of magic? Soulmates meant they were compatible and yes, in most cases it was also in a romantic way, but she couldn't think of that. Of course it would be nice to have a friend in the first place, company in her solitary life, but she worried for him already. He wanted to stay even just for a while, that much she had gathered, so maybe there would be no harm in enjoying their time together, it wasn't as if keeping distance would make things any easier anyway.
In that land, where love was such a big part of life, and soulmates could be found in many ways, she knew that whatever book he'd pick he'd find that the lovestories part of the plot were soulmate-driven, and she didn't know if she had to worry about that either.
It took her longer than usual to fall asleep, but when the sun and birds singing woke her she felt better than the day before. She got up and stretched, scratching her already messy curls before remembering that she had magic and focusing on cleaning herself and changing clothes. A pale blue dress and a flower crown to pull her hair off her face, she was almost ready for the day, "Cyrus?" she called, not wanting to walk straight into his area without permission. Â

9. How do they manifest energy, exhaustion, tension, or other strong emotions?
It can, sometimes, be tricky for people who don't know her well to distinguish an Emma full of energy with one who is exhausted. In the former case, she will have sudden 'loud' moments, she won't stand still for more than a few seconds, she'll suggest many activities or, if she can't do that, start teasing and joking, probably while bouncing on her seat if sitting or swaying around if standing. But one thing she has in common with a more exhausted Emma is the laughter: giggling will happen both when at her best and at her worst.Exhausted Emma will keep moving because she has to, at least if she's physically drained by one of her last adventures. She'll have more trouble walking straight, but keep joking constantly and laugh at her own words, it's only when it's about time to stop and she's letting herself relax that her face will show how tired she is. An emotionally drained Emma, however, will tear up more easily if a painful topic is brought up and might snap at people with less playfulness than the usual. If the tiredness comes from something serious that keeps requiring her to stay up, she will refuse to slow down and eventually close off, focus all her energies in completing her task and in not showing any sign of weakness, carrying on until her body can't take it anymore. If her task is a happy one, like organizing something for someone she loves, she will also keep trying to carry on but without the closing off and snapping. She manifests all positive strong emotions the way they come to her, not holding back, being affectionate and tactile, smiling and laughing. Strong pain also has her tactile and affectionate but her smiles are more angry or bitter, and sometimes it can lead to drinking and looking for trouble. Strong anger usually leads to violence if it's against enemies, or in her friends' case to either yelling or, worse, whispering and then being extremely polite in the coldest way possible.
18. What kind of person could they become in the future? What are some developmental paths that they could take, (best, worst, most likely?) what would cause them to come to pass, and what consequences might they have? What paths would you especially like to see, and why?
I have literally made verses over this. Worst but most likely:Her 'destiny' in her life is that at 28th she'll remember Henry, her other life, the 'cursed' memories she was given in it, and between having been lied to, having taken too many memory potions in her life there and remembering so many things at once, knowing she lost all her true loves and friends and family there, and the emptiness that comes from having had her story rewritten and no Henry, Emma will become a dark witch that is both the sum of her different personalities and one person of her own. She'll want to make things 'even' with revenge, she will cut everyone off her life because they are not the people she remembers, she will pretend to be more evil than she is to keep them away and safer than they'd be near her, and be colder and unable to trust, feeling the pain of her losses at all times.
Best but nope: However, her getting pregnant before turning 28 would result in Henry being born in this verse because the Trust Believer and Next Author can't just be erased - nobody can - by messing with the past, and in that case she'd stop having pains and needing memory potions and go on with her life. Becoming a mother, and likely a wife, will lead Emma to keep following her path and one day taking the crown, being happy with her life, still as stubborn as ever, trusting, and focused on making the kingdom as happy as she is. She might start remembering her other lives, but without the heartbreak and the potions driving her crazy.
27. What do they strongly like and dislike, in any category? Why?
Let's go with men, and not only in a romantic way:she strongly likes men who can make her laugh, who can make her feel challenged, and more than anything who let her be herself and like her with all her exaggerations and flaws. A man who gets her jokes and that she can make happy. Men who are brave, possibly, or can find bravery in themselves, who don't judge women differently than they'd judge other men, men who don't lie and use people's feelings for what they want.
She strongly dislikes men who are the opposite of that, of course, but also and especially men who are bad fathers/lovers. Men who mistreat innocents, who abandon or hurt children, who use their power to treat people like dirt. Given her Emma Swan instincts, she could kill men who are abusive to children in particular. Also, cowards, especially when they lie and pretend to be brave.
36. How much do they rely on their minds and intellect, versus other approaches like relying on instinct, intuition, faith and spirituality, or emotions? What is their opinion on this?
As much as she claims to be stupid, and as much as she tends to follow her emotions/instincts and act before thinking when said emotions are particularly strong, if the issues aren't life-or-death like having to immediately fight to rescue someone, and are issues that involve someone else's sake, she will sit down and think of better solutions. She will rely on her own ability to make up strategies (if there is any danger she will likely take it on herself) and in fact she also solves kingdom problems by keeping track of their finances and planning investments towards different fields and taking care of exchanges with other kingdoms. So basically, if the problem doesn't require an urgent and potentially violent solution, she will try to plan and approves of people who do the same, especially if it's for the sake of the White Kingdom. She will likely follow her intuition when given the choice, and her emotions are part of everything she does if you consider wanting people to be happy and safe an emotion. If, on the other hand, something like one of her friends getting kidnapped happens, her plan will likely be to grab the first weapon she can find, storm there and destroy everyone who gets in her way. She doesn't have a middle ground.
Our Muses get pushed into a small closet together by some strange means, They need to wrap their arms around eachother to make Room. Send 1 of the Following for My Muse's Reaction..

5. âStop squirming or Iâll bite your neck!â
6. âHeh, why are your hands moving down my back?â

9. âYou have really lovely eyes..â
10. âOh my, heh heh, are you blushing?â
11. âSince we are here, wana kiss?â
12. âOh, does this make you nervous?â
Cooler weather would be a problem, the nights did grow cold in Agrabah but he had a feeling here would be far more severe. Â The offer of warmer clothes was appreciated, not everyone would give that much consideration when he could simply be put back in a bottle or kept inside to stay as warm as possible.
The fact she was actually going to give him the leave to come and go as he pleased was still sinking in. Cyrus was sure this would take time to grow accustom to; like a child testing their boundaries to see when theyâd pushed too far.
Leaning slightly to grab at the bed frame, or one end at least, he considered what to say to that.  While he hated to burden her much with any of his life, they were rather stuck with one another for quite some time yet.  âI do try to leave people alone, not everyone appreciates such gestures.  I merely have a desire to know you are thereâŚit sounds strange, and I have no other intention.  Most of my time is spent alone, or simply being ordered about like a mindless slave.â  He sighed, almost regretting all heâd said as she took to lifting the other end of the bed.  That was possibly more than she needed, or cared, to know.  Although her mention of family, and how quickly she fell silent on the topic, made him curious.  Something he would like to ask about later, much later.
âCleansing? Â That I have heard of, although it never went well for those who tried. Â There are few with great power in my land, most find it best to leave them alone than risk provoking them,â he explained, slowly walking towards where sheâd indicated the bed should be placed. Â âSome were malicious in nature, others less than so but I suppose when there has been one who meant harm the rest are considered the same.â Â Another glance to Emma gave him the strong impression in her case it was more someone else who gave people the idea she was trouble. Â Everyone had the potential to do harm, some did so through error, but that didnât mean theyâd continue to be that way.
Cyrus laughed, he had few arguments with that. Â âHe was not among the worst; some can be cruel when a wish does not produce the exact result they envisioned. Â That master did not care much about me aside from being able to grant wishes and take care of a task he would rather not; he was happy when he spoke his last wish although I hope to not slay another dragon if I have no need to.â Â It was tricky with their weak spots in such terrible places. Â âWho is to say what is lady like but the lady herself? Â So long as you do not bring ruin to yourself, then battling a dragon should not be frowned upon.â Â Certain antics, he knew, were considered wrong and yet were a double standard when it came to men.
That he stayed silent on, no point in bringing it up and he didnât agree regardless. Â If a woman would be shamed, than so should a man. Â âI believe in the morning we shall both be rested enough to think far better than we have this evening.â
It made sense to her, wanting to reassure themselve that people were still there by touching them. Thinking of him being ordered around and not considered like a person, or magical creature, with feelings and thoughts was infuriating, however. "That won't happen with me," she murmured, thinking that she'd show it with actions more than words, hopefully.

12. Wet Kiss @ticktock-killthecroc
Emma moaned softly, lips parted as she breathed in again and let her tongue sweep against his lip, tasting the rum she had challenged him to drink not long before. She captured his lip between hers and let go only to kiss him again; his body kept her against the door of his cabin and if she would have been already reluctant to leave when given the chance to move away easily it was even less likely that sheâd cut short their goodbye now.Â

Why she was intent on making it clear to him that should someone see the two of them together, as friends as his mind was not going anywhere near the concept of soulmates, was baffling him. Â Again he looked towards her, curiosity gleaming in the depths of his brown eyes as he ran through her reservations and warnings in his mind. Â Was there a strange rule that a man and woman could not be in public without a chaperone, unless they are wed? Â It was an absolutely stupid rule, and he knew it, but he also knew to expect the unexpected; each land and kingdom had its own rules. Cyrus knew there would always be ones that struck him as completely outlandish.
âSometimes it is best to try to adapt, if it would prove wiser than I have no argument. Â Should the weather here become cooler over time I have my doubts my attire would afford much warmth.â Â The problem of it being a weakness of his was also of importance, but with the tone in conversation relaxing even a small amount, he thought that better left for morning. Â âI am sure, if you so decide, the way women dress in my land would suit you as well.â
It might make her stand out more, he wasnât sure. Â Perhaps he should just be the one to adapt, people here might think nothing of his binds anyway. Â He worried about them being seen, but in a land where genies were not common in folk tales, he may find the worry less pressing in nature.
Any and all questions about this Enchanted Forest, how it may differ from Agrabah in terms of customs and otherwise, it could all wait for morning. Â The magical mishap seemed to signify that perhaps rest would be proper; it had been a long day for Emma and Cyrus couldnât deny he was feeling a little drained. Â Odd for only being out of his bottle a short time, but he fancied with all that had happened there was good reason for him to be.
Apparently, despite his reservations, the natural instinct to reach out to someone in distress had not brought about some retribution on his head for being so rash. Â For all Cyrus had assumed, perhaps she wasnât completely against a small show of friendly gestures. Â That didnât mean heâd give into his desire to even brush his fingers against her arm at times, all in a way to reassure himself she was there, she was real and not imagined, but there was some comfort in knowing should he mistakenly do so she wouldnât lash out immediately. Â At least if she was aware of him being there. Â âI only apologize on the chance you would rather I left you alone. Â It is a terribly bad habit of mine, one I suppose that could develop from being alone so long,â he explained, smiling before ducking his head to hide his touch of embarrassment at that revelation.
Instead of dwelling on that, or kicking himself mentally for talking a little too personal, he stood from the table to move the bed to where she had wanted it to appear. Â Magic rarely did what was desired anyway, so this really hadnât been a surprise to him. Â Glancing over his shoulder, he smiled he laughed softly. Â âIs it possible to name one person who does not react poorly to being touched, even lightly, in their sleep?â Â There was a difference in being partially asleep and feeling someoneâs hand against your arm or face, and being deep in the throes of sleep and dreams after all. Â Still, he was grateful for the warning regardless.
âYes, a dragon. Â My master had the desire to win the hand of a young woman in his village and thought if he slayed a dragon that had proven itself a small threat to their lives he would impress her and the villagers,â Cyrus explained, frowning for a quick moment. Â âIn the end, he did receive the praise he wanted, and the hand of the lady he adored. Â If they knew it was I who carried out the task, they may have reacted differently.â
"The weather will become cooler, yes, snow will be involved. But I'll get you coats and cloaks and whatever you might need, that much I can do," she promised, finding herself more curious about the outfit women of his land wore. She'd find out the next day.
At first she didn't speak about his apology, watching how he seemed a bit embarrassed by that nice reaction to her distress, and then followed him to help him with the bed, "It's not a bad habit. I think it's lovely," she murmured, encouraged by his reassurance, "I'm just not used to people touching me without meaning harm. I'm a witch, more or less. If I let people grab me, I'd risk the typical attempts to clean my soul with... flaying and fire and whatever they can think of," Emma rolled her eyes, "I've always liked touching people before, I was a hugger. Everyone in my family..." she trailed off, shaking her head, and helped him push the bed in the right direction, thankful that she hadn't made appear anything too heavy. "Your master was a piece of work. No offense, but I've known many men who claimed to have done things that were actually accomplished by others and I could never stand them. They couldn't stand me either, but that's because I wasn't a coward and didn't need others to do the job for me." There might have been a hint of smugness in her voice, despite everything. "Terribly inappropriate for a lady, of course, but I never cared. In fact, I have faced a dragon myself. Tomorrow we should swap slaying stories over breakfast," she suggested lightly, and let a bigger smile curl her lips.

I'm not exactly online, I'm studying, but I might use some replies if I'm inspired or asks to keep myself awake what won't get replied right away might be replied in the next days (I have my next exam July 11 so until then I'm basically lurking and doing just a few things because threads keep my brain active despite how BORING the book are)
