Hi, I made something as a joke, but now I’m not sure if it’s super insensitive? You know those old Soviet propaganda posters? I finished a fanart today and then noticed the composition reminded me of it. Dude sideways, sun behind him, flowers. I made a joke version of it in red and white that mimics a fake voting poster (Sam vs Lewis) because I just couldn’t unsee it. We discussed posters like this a lot in school (I’m East German) and also with my parents who experienced socialist Germany. The ugly sides too.
I definitely do take the horrors of the Soviet Union seriously, but since it’s really long ago, would this potentially upset people? Is there a specific tag I should be using? Or should I just keep it to myself?
I’m doing my civics issue final project on ableism/disability rights. pls send help I don’t know what I’m doing and also haven’t been focusing at all
