How Peculiar..

"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" is very good, yes, but I imagine that it may have only been included in the game's original release for its melancholic tone and cultural significance. "If You Want the Rainbow" loses the latter, sure, but in art, references to other works without strong thematic relevance to the work doing the referencing are empty and sort of worthless. At least when compared to a reference that has a stronger thematic relevance. Also it makes me sob like an infant.

I gotta say out of all the movies I've watched this year, this one I really enjoyed this one more than I originally thought I would at all alongside that just a small note I have to say I still do not understand the hate for this film at all it was great and left me with more questions then answers just as the backrooms should or we'll thats my take on it. Also soundtrack is fucking fire. 🔥

-despite his efforts to keep all the toys in the factory, gentle john and all the joyless managed to escape, and he's like "oh shit" and covers it up with a fake story in his little newspaper

-genuine fear isn't the only method he's used to keep his people in line but also making up random shit, like stories about the toys in safe haven eating each other to make them be like "ew"

-instead of boarding up the door to poppy's room or something to keep people out, he just painted cryptic warning signs on the wall which the player later ignores and waltzes in anyway

-his plan to make poppy see things his way by locking her in the case COMPLETELY backfired on him, and instead she emerged from the case as a homicidal little menace trying to blow everything up

-accidentally crushing the living hell out of his sister's face
