Okay I’d heard Big Eden was cheesy and had bad acting but???? It’s the most realistic people-acting I’ve ever seen?? It sounds like stuff people would actually say unscripted?? And it’s also really cute?? I mean I’m all of ten minutes in but I already love this movie??

Does anybody remember that part in Big Eden where the widow thaire finds out Henry’s gay and she invites over all the gay guys in the county and tells Sampa its a chess club so she doesn’t out him cuz I do

I absolutely hate it when someone says someything was less than perfect because of realism… “the movie is fantastic but I don’t think it’s realistic that nobody is homophobic in Montana” ok Mister Filmcritic but consider this: that’s not the point of Big Eden. At all. Not even a bit.
