I figured I'd announce it, and just to give an update, I'll be takjng an unofficial hiatus of writing. I'd love to keep writing and posting, but due to outside factors and overall just work, I simply don't have the time nor energy for it. That being said, in my spare time I'll certainly try to continue to make art.

Here's a sneak peek of chapter four of Honey Eyes and a Bayou Moonrise. Huge thank you to those who got me to 500 hits, all of the kudos, and just overall I appreciate all that everyone has interacted with this fic. I hope to have this chapter out by next Tuesday, but I'll share if that's not reasonable for me.

Oh yes, please do! OG idea wasn’t mine. But I sent the ask because I enjoy this idea like so many others seem to. But I just had a sad thought, for Alastor not to recognize Lucifer as himself Lucifer would have to purposely make the transformation not resemble him. He would have to erase his cheeks and reject his hat 😢 He would have to make parts of himself disappear 😭 I wonder if Alastor will be the first one to notice Lucifer missing, and tell the snake? Surmising the king was injured, used, and scraped dry, and needs rest? How sad Alastor is the one to notice and care. No wonder Lucifer wants to disappear!
That was actually very similar to my plan! I still gotta write the outline- this weekend has been quite busy, but I'm certainly excited! My plan was for Lucifer to become something like Al's chat companion, and I think it'd be really intriguing to see how'd they would interact.
Can we all agree Lucifer would be the prettiest snake? All pearl scales with a hint of red shimmer, and stunning red or golden eyes? Maybe Alastor will think the snake is Lucifer’s and talk about the irritating little king? 👀

I too also look forward to you writing it! If you haven’t read it…. I get Mon Serpent and Little Darling from LOML by @radioapple-heathen It’s such a very wonderful story! Al adores his snakey Eden and the art is literal perfection. One of the best Radioapple fics I’ve ever found! But Eden has her own story. And this anon’s prompt is different…. because I’ve never seen one Lucifer is transformed into the snake!Thank you Nonnie!!!
LOML is one of my TBR! I've heard very good things about it and I'm glad you agree! That sounds so interesting and I chat wait to read it. Currently I'm occupied with writing the first anon suggestion I got, but I'm so excited for this one too! My plan is to get back on track with my "long" fic once I've completed these oneshots.

If RA have become drinking buddies. Someone asks Lucifer out.. and Lucifer thinks well, Al is never gonna ask, but it’s nice to be asked, so he just says sure, he can be wanted for a night. Alastor is not NOT happy about this!

Y'all, I just wanted to provide an fyi as to my fanfic. Life's overall been pretty hectic my I truly hope I can get back to writing soon! I can't wait to continue the plot, I've just been having a difficult time with motivation so if anyone has any PSAs that'd be appreciated. My creative writing has been "stuck" recently but if anyone had any radioapple oneshot ideas, that'd be greatly appreciated. And although I'd like some ideas, I cannot guarantee any results. That being said, a big thanks to everyone who read my fic and has given me the kudos and hits that I have now. Thank you for being patient, and I can't wait until next chapter. Till then!

also tokay geckos are very aggressive and could be used as a metaphor for fighting against fascism.

And since some other people have asked: There's no start date for this, nor is this an end date. "Summer" in this context is an extremely arbitrary unit of measurement. I'm starting now because my personal summer runs from about mid-May to mid-August. Yours may vary.

Lowkey have been having writers block recently so if anyone has any tips to increase motivation then that'd be really appreciated. Although, that being said, I will not be posting chapter 4 today and I'm unsure when the next chapters will come out. My apologies for the inconsistencies of updates and the falseness of saying when I'll update. I do plan on posting more art soon though, so be on the lookout for that.
