Class 1-1 aka Hiragilings

I started making little crochet flower hair accessories after I read the Ascendance of a Bookworm light novels, but this is my first attempt at making one of the specific hair pins from the series. And uh, probably my last because like literally every depiction of this hair pin is slightly different. Trying to square up all the different illustrations into something cohesive was really tough!

It was mostly done with friendship bracelet thread and embroidery floss, but the gold is sewing thread. The main part of the hair pin has three white roses trimmed with the gold thread, a dozen medium blue flowers, and a dozen dark blue flowers sewn onto a backing. There are pearls between each of the dangling flowers to keep them spaced nicely and to give the strands some momentum when they move. The comb is more useful for how I usually wear my hair than a hair stick, so I sewed that to a circle of felt then hand stitched it to the floral piece to make it tidy.

Part 1: "Not my circus, not my monkeys."

Part 2: "The monkey has killed the ringmaster."

Part 3: "Still not my circus, but this is my monkey."

Part 4: "What is my monkey doing in that circus?"

Rozemyne: Oh, that’s a trope in fiction from my old world. It refers to a love interest with blue hair who is able to restore a love of life to a depressed male protagonist who has given up on life through her bizarre and whimsical antics.

Ferdinand: *stares at Rozemyne*

Rozemyne: What’s wrong? Please don’t tell me this is another thing that nobles find unacceptable.

Ferdinand: "Very well."

Ferdinand, at every opportunity: "...Ew."

Day 39 - Absolute Cinema

I don't think anyone's made an actual drawn version of this rather than an edit of rimuru (I could be wrong tho), so I have taken it upon myself to make it. Behold! Feel free to use it, just don't do what the Youjo Senki subreddit did when I made a Tanya one and put it through an AI filter (presumably to remove the un-intrusive watermark I put on it) -_-
