Milo grew up in an old money French family, where he learned to be the “perfect” kid. He tried, really tried, brought back perfect grades and great appreciation, but it was never enough. At 18, he packed up his things and left. He left a single letter, and turned his back to his family, running to the US where he got a spot as a student in Harvard. There, he met Arty – a student at MIT – and they became roommates. He loves Arty with his whole heart, but in a deeply platonic way. Milo spends his days talking (“yapping”, as Arty will say), being a huge nerd while researching for random subjects, writing articles for his newspaper or for his fanfictions and making out in some shady places. But he is still – somehow – a really good student, loved by all the teachers at Harvard and enthusiastic by the idea of learning new things. He took the lead of Harvard’s newspaper, giving himself the mission of bringing the latest headlines to everyone on the campus, and even outside the campus. At 21 years old, Milo got a spot for a worldwide conference in Boston, going there with the goal of writing a long report. But at the same time, he met Bruce Banner, internationally known scientist, Mr. 7 P.D.H and part of the Avengers. Little by little, he started to meet more and more Avengers, and somehow got adopted – with Arty – in the group ??

Arty never really settled in one place. They lived in France, Brazil, changed schools many times — so belonging somewhere was not something they knew of. At 17, they decided they wanted to take their own solo path, find a home for themselves, somewhere to really settle ; a brand new start somewhere far away. One year later, they moved out, running away to the US (not the greatest choice of country, but they needed this) and integrated MIT. They met Milo — a Harvard student — and ended up as his roommate. The bond the two share is purely platonic, yet so powerful some people have mistaken them as a couple… Which Arty finds so hilariously absurd (and funny). Sure, they love Milo, but definitely not in a romantic way. School-wise, Artemis has excellent grades, hardly earned through their sleepless nights. Arty is smart and has always had a quick mind to understand new subjects easily, and MIT brings some challenges to entertain their brain. Despite the level of their university and high demands in terms of work, they are very passionate about what they do, even working on small projects on the side with the knowledge they have gained over the years. At the very age of 21 years old, our favourite nerd got into their head the idea of hacking Stark Industries. Surprisingly enough, after nights and nights of coding, bypassing firewalls and such, they successfully infiltrated the system, attracting the attention and curiosity of the one and only Tony Stark. Somehow, this harmless challenge led them, gradually, to meet the avengers (alongside Milo, who had met Dr. Bruce Banner, one of Arty’s idols), and get involved in their little group !
