He motions with the gun, and the employee sets off getting everything prepared, grabbing a paper bag to stuff the cheese and tots in. Petrel takes a moment to sweep his gaze back around the few customers there are, and—ahhh, shit one of them has their phone out.

“Er—speaking of, we may not have much time before we need to split.”

"What do you mean by-" Her words had stopped in her tracks when she had also seen that same customer with the phone. "Oh hell no! Not on my watch!"   Putting her gun back in her pants, the mechanic marches over to the customer with said phone. It is then that she confiscates said phone and puts it in her bra.

“On second thought,” Petrel said, “we’ll take the machines, too.”

“What do you think, Ells? Maybe we should have him load us up, eh?” With his free hand, he plucked up Ellie’s milkshake and passed it to her, before grabbing his own and taking a long sip. “Oh. And the register, too. And some tater tots, I’ve got the munchies. You think we need anything else?”

As soon as he gave the signal, Ellie whipped out her own gun from her pants. She knew that it was about time to get down to business. On another note, the executive called her Ells. Ells huh? Well that was different. To be fair though, the ginger had called him Petey first.

"Hm...decisions...decisions." The grunt took a sip of her shake as she scanned the diner's menu for anything else that she'd want. They were on their way to getting milkshake machines, a register, and apparently tater tots. "We are on the go so...cheese curds. Large size."

“After you, m’lady.” After waiting for Ellie to pass inside, he followed her in, letting the door swing shut behind them. A quick glance around—not too many people around this time of day, it seemed, but then again, it was kind of out in the middle of nowhere. Either way, he stepped right up to the counter and smiled brightly at the cashier. “Anything the lady wants,” he told them, “and also the biggest fuckin’ chocolate malt possible for me.”

"Why thank you Petey!" The mechanic nodded as she entered the diner. It was best that they ordered their shakes first so that no one would even see their milkshake heist coming. To the employee's and the other customers, Ellie and Petrel were a duo who wanted to try the diner's finest milkshakes.

He waited as patiently as he could for Ellie to get out of the car before marching over to stop just outside the window near the door, peering in and scanning the diner. Not too many people—just enough for them to manage. But there were no other escape routes up front that he could see besides the single entrance. Wellp, here was hoping to not have cops called on them two minutes after they stepped foot inside.

“How do you want to play it?” he murmured, “guns blazing, or be cool til we get to the counter?

Looking under the seat, the ginger made sure to put the ammo in her pocket. Ellie didn’t really have a suit jacket like Petrel did, so she hid hers inside her pants. Once the grunt got herself situated, the young adult got out of the car. Determined to steal those milkshake machines.

“You know what?” he said, “screw it. Just screw it. Forget two milkshakes. We are going to fix everything, and I have a plan.” A grin stretching across his face, Petrel took his keys out of the ignition and reached across Ellie to unlock the dashboard, revealing within it a handful of handguns.

“Grab one you like,” he continued, “and let’s go in and steal their goddamn milkshake machines.” Clearly, this was the best solution to any problem ever and in no way a horrible squandering of either of their potentials. It was also decidedly closer than Fiore, and so jet lag was remove from the picture entirely.

“Fix everything?” She probably assumed because she came Fiore and how the redhead described the region. What was the medic up to? Observing the grin on his face, the young adult had a feeling that he wanted to do something over the top. Her assumption was right as he unlocked his dashboard of handguns.

“Steal the milkshake machines?” The mechanic repeated, having a rather blank expression on her face. Then again, he was an Executive, so something like this could happen should the grunt be around someone like him. After a moment of consideration, Ellie decided to go ahead and take one of his smallest handguns.

“God, they sound so lame. Why are they so lame? Fuckin’ Fiore, man. Fuckin’. Fiore.” With a shake of his head, Petrel pulled off the highway and turned at the first light they came across, and then into a parking lot just down the road. “We’ll celebrate you not being fuckin’ weird,” he continued, “you know what? We’re gonna get the biggest fuckin’ milkshakes they have. No, even better, let’s get two. Two milkshakes, because like hell are the tree-huggers gonna take over the world. Power to the mechanics, yeah?”

That being said, Petrel offered Ellie one of his mechanical smiles. “You know what, kid?” he chuckled, “you’re alright. Next time you come into the infirm, drop by and say hey, I’ll sneak you some stickers from the pediatric unit.”

“Pokemon Trainers are pretty frowned upon in Fiore. Its because they don’t care about the environment as much as a Pokemon Ranger does. They apparently think that Pokemon battles are inhumane too. So yeah, making a huge ass deal over nothing.” Ellie couldn’t agree more with the purple head. Fiore was just a really lame place in general, aside from becoming a mechanic and meeting her first Pokemon.

“Totally worth it to get two milkshakes. I’m so glad that I joined Team Rocket instead of becoming one of those activist nerds. Otherwise I’d turn into one of those brainless zombies that only cares about world domination through the power of caring way too much about the environment.” The ginger chuckled because this known fact would have been true.
