Iām bad about setting goals. Wait, thatās a lie. Iām great with setting goals, Iām bad about setting achievable goals in relation to the time frame that I think they should be met by. However, I also know if I donāt set a time frame for a goal I will never fully work towards it.Ā
So hereās some goals, next to them is the date that I want to hopefully achieve that weight by and as I reach the goals I will strike out and add the date I reached that goal (that sounds confusing, I promise that as it happens it will make more sense) and adjust the dates if necessary for remaining goals:Ā
SW: 213.4 (Aug 17, 2015)
GW1: 199.9 (Oct 3, 2015) [-13.5lb]
GW2: 185 (Nov 26, 2015) [-28.4lb]
GW3: 175 (Dec 28, 2015) [-38.4lb]
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā [taking into account thanksgiving and christmas]
GW4: 163.4 (Feb 15, 2016) [-50lb]
GW5: 155 (Mar 20, 2016) [-58.4lb]
UGW: 143.4 (June 15, 2016) [-70lb]
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Day before Firefly 2016
I did the math, I have 42 weeks and a couple days change until my UGW timeframe. With that in mind if I lose 1.7lbs a week I will make my goal. Thatās in the safe weight loss range per week. I know I can do this. I have to do this.Ā
I canāt keep waiting for a more convenient time.Ā
I know what my potential hiccups will be:
Sept 5+6 Made in America Festival in Philly
Sept 25-Oct 2 Disney World Vacation
The whole month of December (holiday parties. they kill me)
Dec 28-Jan 3 Disney World VacationĀ
March 4-6 Winter Beach Getaway with 150+ people
Those will be my biggest challenges. Especially the two Disney trips, yes Iāll be walking a lot more than I typically would, but the first one is during Food and Wine Festival, the second one will be for New Years Eve. With the deluxe dining plan. I know alcohol will be in excess, I know food will be in excess.Ā
But you know what they say: Plan your work; work your plan.Ā
