Felt like making a complete comparison pic. Yes, the resolution on the second designs is low because it's a PNG that I added rendering over. Still, funny how the designs were so simple.

For context, I spent months searching for a picture book I used to read as a kid, and I made a pic of the characters I remembered, as I remembered them. I found the book a couple days ago (The Lost Treasure of Captain Blood by Jonathan Stroud) and wanted to do a quick pic of their original designs. Here are the actual designs compared to my falsely remembered ones. I'll do a proper redesign now, I love these characters.

My part of an art trade with ReignedSupreme on SketchersUnited. They wanted me to make a werewolf design for their OC Barry. I don't normally draw larger characters, so this was a good exercise.

Yet another OC redesign because it's the only thing I feel motivation to do. Back in 2018-2019, I created a joke character called I.D.E.K who was a creature with all kinds of weird features. The pic on the left is a digitised version of a paper sketch I did back in 2019, the digital pic was done the same year. The X marking is meant to indicate that his theoretical creator tried to cross him out.

For his redesign, I decided to make him a full on mega-hybrid with features from every basic bio group. As you can probably tell, I took massive inspiration from Discord from MLP:FiM.

Here are his parts and their groups:

Head, right eye, torso, right arm - Mammal

Left arm, right wing - Bird

Left leg, tail fin - Amphibian

Right leg, antennae - Invertebrate

Left wing, left eye, tail - Reptile

Gills - Fish

The original design was created in 2019, the first redesign in 2022, and the current one was completed yesterday. R.I.P OG Ronnie, I'll always miss you and all the other vintage pics I'll never get back.

Ronnie 3.0 is done. I'm afraid I can't include his first design as I lost the image years ago (this was before I started posting my art online, so it's gone forever). Either way, I'm happy with his new look, it carries a lot more influence from his original look with the purple markings.

I moved the colours around a bit and added something to the background. Random I know but I was obsessed with dripping goop at the time.

The designs aren't bad, but the anatomy is god-awful.

I wanted to remake it again, perhaps for the last time. I also wanted to make two versions, one with the original designs, and one with better designs.

Finally got something done! I've been working on multiple pics these past few weeks, but I needed to get this done just in time. Surprisingly, I've never done Easter art before, always a good time to start. I designed some Easter-themed kids with bonnets and springtime fits.

And here's my Vox. He took a while since I kind of improvised a lot of his features. Here are the changes I made:

○ He actually has shark features that are noticeable. The gills are not enough for him to be a shark in my eyes.

○ I simplified his shirt because I found the original design to be needlessly complex. I incorporated the signal symbol into the shirt and not the hat since I found it to be redundant.

○ I gave him horns, a feature that more sinner demons desperately need. I tried to make them resemble twisted aerials, but you can tell me how well that worked.

○ I took most of the cyan accents off his clothes since they were far too overbearing in the original design. Those bright colours should be reserved for his screen and skin.

After looking at some really cool fan designs for Alastor, I wanted to give it a shot. His Canon dssign has many issues imo, so I felt like I could make some tweaks.

Undershirt is now visible.

Antlers are big enough to actually be noticed and are curled into demon horns.

He retains his dark skin (which has short fur) and curly hair.

He has two tails, a deer one and a forked one that emerges from the fluff.

I felt like the sentient bowtie concept fits him more than Pentious, it could be one of the other souls he owns.

His jacket has no stripes because I find them unnecessary for him specifically, it does work for characters like Vox and Angel though.

Been working on this for a few days. I was dying to draw them as Cat & Bear after seeing some of the fanart on here. Cat's colour scheme isn't great, but I tried. I fucking hate shoes.
