I just found out that Australian children are occasionally treated to a snack called Fairy bread which consists of sprinkles on buttered white bread.

And sprinkles in Australia are referred to as "hundreds of thousands "

"hundreds and thousands" are a specific type of sprinkle, the small round hard ones. as opposed to the longer softer ones that look more like confetti, which one might find on ice cream (cake sprinkles)

You're supposed to use hundreds and thousands on bread, but i don't really like the crunch of them, so i prefer to use cake sprinkles (which i'm sure other aussies will see as a sin)

Droodles by Roger Price (from his 1953 book). Droodles (a blend of “doodle”, “drawing”, “riddle”) are simple drawings with a witty, often absurd, caption. The first one, as some of you may know, was used by Frank Zappa for his 1982 album, Ship Arriving Too Late to Save a Drowning Witch. (Zappa, a fan of Price's work, lived just a few miles from the artist and personally sought permission to use the image.)
