Hi

Christmas time has always been kinda strange in my household. Being that my parents are divorced, I never really had a “traditional” Christmas with a huge family gathering. It was always spent with my dad one year and my mother another. My family isn’t super religious or spirited either which makes snapchat and Instagram passive-stalking all the more painful. This year I spent the morning with my mom and her boyfriend while my brother slept till noon (like he always does) exchanging gifts before the two of them head out to New York for a Christmas party. Low-key wish we were that festive, but I digress. 

Over the years I’ve learned to just accept it for what it is though, I’m just grateful that this year I get to spend it at home relaxing, near my family. Last year, I spent it abroad with my then friend from college. I miss home the longer I stay out in cali.
