caught the Dragonite first try, and while she won’t count to the nuzlocke as a whole (was not the first encounter, sadly) i’ll keep her around anyways… i called her Gwennie.

dude i'm still at the intro screen, i'm sooo hyped for this game man.

you know how in the RSE games, the game asks for the time right? i got to that screen, and the clock just.... automatically winded to the exact time i was at! wha?!?

A) the main character is an orphan, and their rival is a bully B) the main chara's only starter choice is a Pokemon that is a mystery type and looks like a dragon, and the professor entrusts you the Pokemon for.... research? C) there's some evil team in the background, unfortunately i don't remember the name, but you could at some point buy from them, and there was a split path depending on if you bought from them or not. one path gets you jailed (although you would be pardoned immediately after, only to get involved in some kind of evil team's prison breakout), the other path has you going the way you were heading, and fighting some evil team in a forest with.... some good guys. both paths give you an egg. D) i don't remember how much of the original spritework was left over but i think the protag characters were resprited?
