percy annabeth and grover being teenage friends during the titan war has got to be my favorite gag ever. their designated hangout spot is this 'hippie' smoothie place near percy's apartment. they probably three-way IM during the school year to talk about the war and middle school drama and shit. annabeth and percy probably told everyone they dyed their hair together for a friend group thing when they both got gray streaks as a result of the titans curse, and then dyed grover's so all three of them matched during a sleepover, even if they fucked up terribly because they were fourteen and using storebought cheap dye and he had to get it taken out later. i imagine that the other head counselors would refer to them as a unit because they were just alwayss together, and percy and annabeth would get to cuss out the school system together over winter break while grover laughs at them and says he's so happy he doesn't have to be in school anymore. slumber parties in cabin three where they play truth or dare and get caught by the harpies once because percy dared grover to walk on the roof, and play with a Ouija board because its a cliché teenage thing to do and they figure they can fight any angry spirit so they might as well see if it works. Placing bets on whether Clarisse and Chris will become official before Silena and Beckendorf and doing stupid shit like 'we listen and we don't judge' as they share secrets in the infirmary after a particularly rough Capture-the-Flag game. just our favorite trio but before they got into high school and had to become Responsible and Experienced and Older Than Everyone Else during the Giant War, back when they were still the camp babies and the older counselors would look at them and laugh at their antics
