Anne With an E is literally one of the most beautiful and impactful shows I have ever seen. It's opened up so many doors and I even bet it had the changed the mindset of so many people. The constant topics and themes that the show goes over are so important and must be spoken about and the fact that the writers and all the people involved in creating this magnificent show portray each quality beautifully. Racism, bodily autonomy, forced assimilation (and assimilation on general, and so many more themes that must be spoken about are shown in this show for family, teens, and children. This is a show I would want to definently show future generation and older humans. Not to mention this show is so relevant to the times and they actually cast people who fit the descriptions of the character that is meant to be played. Further, they don't sugarcoat history or what occurs. Families being split apart or families hurting one another is consistently being shown and even more, the show portrays a much wider variety of different types of families than in some "modern shows".
So to conclude, Anne With an E is one of the most beautiful and well-written shows I have ever seen and MUST BE RENEWED!!
Even more, I believe the story of indigenous people must be shown, it is extremely relevant and cannot simply be ignored or glazed over. I remember watching it and just bawling like a baby because I knew how terrible it is, but just visually seeing it hurt so badly, and the story is definently not over. I believe it is so so important to continue on with this story in so many different ways. Further, I'm so happy the writers and people involved in creating this show chose to show this because it's important. Not only this, but showing the way older generations affect those younger in their ideologies and opinions is amazing. It shows the importance in breaking the cycle and how no matter what, we are all human. We're all equal and must treat one another as such.
