Transformers Warfare: Wreckers
The next generation of the elite Autobot strike team known as the Wreckers, the new Xantium crew is, as expected for the Wreckers at this point, a group of ragtag misfits with issues up the wazoo and mildly dark pasts. It'll take a miracle to shape them up into the legends the older, now deceased Wrecker groups have come to be known as. Unfortunately for them, Ultra Magnus is not a miracle worker.
Formerly the leader of the Elite Guard, Ultra Magnus was personally chosen by Optimus Prime to recruit and lead a new team of Wreckers after the last was killed in a suicide attack against the Decepticon Heavy Brigade. Though he'd much prefer to go back to his old team - or even to his old ways as just a soldier who would follow orders and now give them - he knows that if anybody on this ship could handle the responsibility of leading such a team, it would be him.
Ultra Magnus transforms into a a Cybertronian car carrier truck. He is armed with a Path Blaster, twin shoulder mounted missile launchers, and a specially created, electricity wielding hammer known as The Magnus Hammer.
If Ultra Magnus had to - or rather, was able to - chose a successor as leader of the Wreckers, it would be Springer. A great warrior, brave to a fault, and always ready to lighten up a tense moment, this Triple Changer is only held back by one thing: his self confidence will falter if he's actually put into a position of responsibility for the safety of others. Nevertheless, he still has what it takes for leadership. Ultra Magnus just hopes he realizes this before he's forced to be taught as such.
Springer is a Triple Changer and can transform into both a Cybertronian armored car and a Cybertronian helicopter. He is armed with a laser rifle and a sword.
Springer's self confidence is tempered by his snarky personality and sense of duty. Rotorstorm's... isn't. He brags constantly about his feats of strength and bravery, about how respected he is among even the Decepticons, and about how he's everyone's favorite Autobot, even Optimus Prime's. And the worst damn part about it is that it's all true. Well, except that part about being everyone's favorite. Anyways, as told by his own legendary autobiographic stories, he is a true threat for the Decepticons, and everyone would know it even if he didn't constantly spout about it. In fact, his attitude is sometimes almost like Rotorstorm himself feels threatened by Rotorstorm.
Rotorstorm transforms into a Cybertronian attack helicopter. He is armed with twin double barreled cannons.
Don't let his large size and clumsiness fool you: Bulkhead is a bot full of love. Formerly a Constructicon, his hatred for bullies and thugs prompted him to join the Autobots, unlike most of his other Constructicon brethren. Although his knowledge of construction - particularly Space Bridge technology - might have been wasted on the war effort, his large size, ability to take damage and dish out damage, and his loyalty to his friends made him a perfect frontline soldier, which is what lead to his recruitment into the Wreckers. Even if his clumsiness is a bit of a problem at times.
Bulkhead used to transform into a Cybertronian excovator, but he has switched to a Cybertronian all terrain truck. He can transform his arms into large, mace like melee weapons.
Moonracer is, for several reasons, one of the last bots you'd see in a team like the Wreckers. Not only is her position as a sniper quite unusual for an "in your face" group such as them, but her bubbly, cheerful demeanor is so contrasting to everyone else's more serious attitudes. But her spot on the team is more then justified. She's singlehandedly cleared out entire groups of Decepticons, with nobody the wiser to her presence until it was too late, and even when put in a compromising position, she's speedy and feisty enough to escape with nary a scratch, most of the time. It was for these reasons that Ultra Magnus personally asked Elita One for an official transfer from her team, the Shield of Solus, to the Wreckers, where she met Powerglide and began showing a more... romantic side of herself.
Moonracer transforms into a Velocitronian car. She is armed with a Nucleon Charge Rifle, affectionately dubbed "Powerglide II".
Most flyers have used aerial acrobatics as a form of outmaneuvering an opponent, but Powerglide has turned it into a religion. Not literally, of course, though there are somedays some might think otherwise. Powerglide loves an audience, be they friend or foe, and he loves to show off his skills, especially if they one-up a fellow flyer. Which unfortunately for him is a rare feat. His skill with dogfighting, good enough to beat even Dogfight, was a necessity that he turned into a game, thanks to the heavier firepower and even more skillful flying of the many, many Decepticons who have flying alt modes. Despite this, he hasn't accepted any requests to upgrade his armory. He'd rather his own skill speak for itself, even if it gets him killed.
Powerglide transforms into a Cybertronian jet resembling an Earth A-10 Thunderbolt. He is unarmed in robot mode, instead relying on a small, but surprisingly powerful gatling gun on the nosecone of his vehicle mode.
Every team seems to have a young and ambitious warrior who could grow to be a great leader if given a little time to mature and a nudge in the right direction. For the Wreckers, Hot Shot is that warrior. He's naΓ―ve and a bit annoying to deal with, but he's one of the most loyal and brave Autobots out there, willing to risk his life against anybody wearing a Decepticon badge. Except for the Decepticon known as Downshift. The two, alongside Joyride, have a history that didn't originally start out as hostile as it is now, and Hot Shot wishes he'd just listen to reason and talk things out with them. Unfortunately, Downshift isn't willing to do so, a fact that breaks Hot Shot's spark, especially with the knowledge that one day, he'll have to confront his former friend.
Hot Shot transforms into a Cybertronian sports car. He is armed with a gun formed from his engine block and a large "Axelzooka" mounted on his back.
At first glance, Joyride's attitude may make her seem like an ill fit for the Autobots. Energon thirsty and a reckless driver, she cares not for pesky, trivial matters like innocent bystanders or consequences for her actions. All she wants to do is sate her unquenchable thirst for violence. She wasn't always like this, however. Once, she was a sweet and caring Conjunx to the Omnibot Downshift. His death left heavy scars on Joyride, shaping her into who she is now. Who knows how she'll react when she realizes he's still alive, now on the side of the Decepticons.
Joyride transforms into a Cybertronian motorcycle. She is armed with a double barreled rifle.
Although her red and white color scheme may make her resemble a standard Autobot medic, Tincture is anything but. A loyal friend and terrible enemy to have, Tincture has been on too many adventures to count, and she loves to tell stories of her exploits through the cosmos. Of course, these tales are often hampered by her tendency to get sidetracked and her habit of chugging Engex like there's no tomorrow, a habit that's made even worse when you realize her choice of weapon. At the end of the day though, Tincture is one reliable Autobot who Ultra Magnus is glad to have recruited... when he doesn't have to wake her up after one of her nights spent binge drinking.
Tincture transforms into a Cybertronian speed boat. She is armed with a missle launcher.
Broadside doesn't have the best of luck. She's a Triple Changer with one flight capable alt mode and one sea faring alt mode. The problem arises when you realize that Broadside is both acrophobic and prone to sea sickness, and once you find these facts out, you get the sense why she feels like Primus was laughing silently on the day of her creation. Fortunately, battling Decepticons gives her an outlet to vent her frustration. And no team fights more Decepticons then the Wreckers.
Broadside is a Triple Changer and can transform into both a Cybertronian jet and Cybertronian aircraft carrier. She is armed with a plasma pulse gun and a vibro-axe.
Formerly a member of the Technobots, Nosecone wound up as one of two confirmed survivors of an assault on the group, and one who was quite lucky, considering the fact that the second survivor had to have his spark transfered into a new body. Nosecone's wounds ran deep, both in the physical and mental sense, and it took a while for him to recover. When he did so, it was with a newfound fury against the Decepticons, one which drove him to join the Wreckers. In spite of this, Nosecone has found his perfectionism has continued to rear its ugly head still, and he's still a bit slow go act. Hopefully, he'll grow out of it.
Nosecone transforms into a Cybertronian drill tank. He is armed with an X-ray laser pistol.
Frankly speaking, Toxitron is weird. A failed clone of Autobot leader Optimus Prime, Toxitron is a corrosive acid spewing, backwards talking idiot of a bot, and it was pure luck that he wound up joining with the Wreckers when they found him. His sense of right and wrong is dubious, at best, but he's got a good spark and a willingness to prove his worth, often with the battlecries "Toxitron Number 1!" or "Booray Toxitron!"
Toxitron transforms into a Cybertronian semi truck. He is armed with a Corrosive Slime Cannon and an axe made of the substance "Tox-En".
