the thing is as much as i wanna complain about kids these days rping with chatbots instead of rping with their friends i do have to acknowledge that like. i don't even know where teenagers are supposed to make rp friends on the internet anymore? the places i grew up rping have shut down or been enshittificated so hard they're unusable. i only rp with people ive been rping with for years and very rarely does that group get new members who aren't also ancient deviantart kids. not saying i think ch.ai is a good solution to this but if i was 14 and lonely. well id understand the appeal yknow.
