Shinju brought her hand to her chin as she pondered his question. It was important that he knew about the Hyūga clan, even if the history was dark. She patted the empty space beside her, motioning for him to sit.

“Of course, Boru‑chan. Is there anything in particular you want to know?” she asked, smiling.

She doesn’t want to rely solely on her Byakugan and Gentle Fist, believing that she should expand her arsenal for when she can’t use her dōjutsu. 

This is how Shinju appears when she isn’t wearing her ANBU or Konoha attire. 

When Shinju showed she was a prodigy, she was raised separately by her great-grandmother. She followed a rigorous training where playing and being a child had no room. If she wasn’t studying, she was training. Going to the Ninja Academy was where she learnt how to play and have fun. She loved going to school because back home was anything but fun. 

When she was seven years old, she was forced into surgery and was given her great-grandmother’s byakugan. Her own weren’t as pure and with her great-grandmother’s health deteriorating quickly, time was running out. This all was traumatising for Shinju, who was pushed into studying even harder. 

She graduated at the age of eight from the Ninja Academy. And promoted to chūnin at the age of ten. She was fourteen when she reached the age of jōnin and was soon after recruited within the ranks of the ANBU by the Fourth Hokage.  

Her great-grandmother died when Shinju was fifteen years old, marking a new chapter in her life she wasn’t sure how to fill. Shinju by then was an accomplished medic and wielder of the clan’s secret techniques. Out of habit, she kept studying whenever she wasn’t on a mission. 

Within the ANBU, Shinju’s specialities were tracking, close-to-mid-range combat, and healing. 

Despite the gruesome missions, Shinju developed a cheerful personality who isn’t big on staying serious all of the time. She likes to keep things light because life is short. 

This is an independent, private role‑play blog for Shinju Hyūga, an original character set in the world of Naruto.

This blog is OC, multi‑muse, and crossover‑friendly (though I’m selective with crossovers). I ask that partners have an easily accessible rules and information page for their muses.

Godmodding is not allowed. That said, I’m fine with small actions that help move the thread forward—for example, your muse taking Shinju’s hand to lead her somewhere or carrying her if she’s injured and needs medical care.

Mun ≠ Muse. Shinju is her own character, with a unique personality and opinions. Please don’t confuse my in‑character writing with my out‑of‑character voice.

I don’t send out passwords, as I always read my partner’s rule page.

I’m an adult (35+), and NSFW content may appear here. It will always be tagged appropriately, whether it involves gore, sexual themes, or anything in between. I do not write with minors and ask that they do not interact with me.

When it comes to shipping, my Muse only ships with one version of the same Canon character at a time. Once a ship is established, it becomes hard for me to form a separate romantic connection with another version of that character, and keeping things to one versions is part of my comfort zone. I usually like to feel some chemistry first, but I’m always happy to chat about a potential ship and see how things develop. I can be a little selective, and I usually feel more comfortable exploring ships with partners I talk to OOC as well.

About shipping art: I created Shinju back in 2010 and, during my old DeviantArt days, I shipped her with Kakashi and later Iruka purely for my own enjoyment. It’s been sixteen years, and the old artwork is still floating around online—commissioning art has always been my hobby, so it’s everywhere by now. And I’m not into those ships anymore—you can tease me about them, but don’t @ me :P

My phobia is molluscophobia (fear of snails and slugs). My triggers include rape, emotional and physical abuse, and alcoholism.

I don’t tolerate hate against LGBT+ people or any kind of hate based on race, religion, or similar.

My activity is sporadic and tends toward low, and because of this I practise favouritism. I focus on threads and partners that inspire me most rather than trying to juggle everything at once. Please don’t take this personally; it’s simply how I keep role‑play enjoyable and manageable.

English isn’t my first language, so mistakes may happen. Please don’t be rude about it.
