going through my art tubs to find things to donate for a flea market the studio is holding to raise some funds, which means I'm clapping eyes on all kinds of abandoned projects.

I see some of the vision. my usual approach to drawing botanicals is intentionally chaotic, because I naturally gravitate to symmetry, and I was trying to loosen up my movements (do things outside of my comfort zone and see how it informs my style overall). here, though, I think I was planning to lean into my natural flow and attempt a stylistically stiff botanical illustration. definitely body horror, as is my way. I'm going to keep this one though and try to finish it, because that would be good for me as an artist
