John Tyler 💘 Rusty fics: John Tyler is my interpretation of a character pulled from the show "Tell Me Your Secrets," in which he is a very very bad man. I have a headcanon where he and my OC Rusty are soulmates who meet in different incarnations. These stories feature emotionally complicated characters who are unreliable narrators, and both are in survival mode in some sense. The abuse in these fics is intended to be multi-layered, but never excused, and I invite you to speak your mind respectfully toward any insight or feelings they may inspire in you. So far, DTDN (an unreleased WIP) is the only one where John Tyler is a "good" man, so again, heed the warnings and read at your own risk. Take mindful care of yourself.
