i actually fucking hate the the majority of the stupid fucking pitt fandom so much because it’s so full of dickmatized man-obsessed LOSERS. what do you mean there’s already like 50+ fics about that weird shark guy who appeared for ONE SCENE in ONE EPISODE and why is he being shipped with multiple female characters who haven’t even interacted with him. “oh it’s fanfic everyone does that” I DONT CARE! this should not be the normal. especially not for the pitt, which is a show with such a cool and diverse cast of complex female characters which somehow happens to have the most rancid misogynistic dick-obsessed gender-norm-upholding white-man-worshipping boy-mom-acting never-making-it-out-of-the-patriarchy IDIOTS writing stupid fucking bullshit fics that either sideline the female characters as token background ships that clog up the already meager f/f tag or reduce gorgeous complex women to trivial self-insert fodder for the bland white men they can’t stop thirsting over. it’s so fucking tired

started watching "my life with the walter boys" with one of my friends and i'm actually losing my mind over the premise of this show. like the main girls' ENTIRE FAMILY died 1-6 months ago and she moves in with these eight or possible ten boys and suddenly her entire life is based around which brother she's going to date instead of like...the fact that she's literally the sole surviving member of the family she grew up in? even her new friends from her new school are like "oh sorry your family died that sucks but at least COLE WALTER is into you omggg he's so hot." the other brothers put bleach in her shampoo on day 2 of her staying at the house and then got mad at her for "snitching" to their mother because "we have a no snitching rule." just to reiterate: this girl has never met any of these boys before, she's not part of their family, and her Entire. Family. Just. Died. the one indication of her having any kind of familial grief or trauma so far is a brief scene where she wakes up in the middle of the night yelling for her mom, and once she realizes what's going on she scoffs and rolls her eyes because apparently she's disgusted at herself for the crime of having a nightmare about her literal dead mother. literally how is this a real show. it's like the worst thing i've ever watched it's so fucking awesome. i can't wait to watch more
